  Although the trip was good, we were 52 people without name tags. When I tried to leave this comment with Trafalgar, they claimed this was to help the environment. Surely a company of that size could be less patronizing and find a way to allow passengers and to tour directors to remember each other's names without impacting the environment! Also, the Rushmore Hotel was not acceptable. The location was not in the heart of Rapid City. The décor was a factory motif, complete with exposed pipes. There were only two elevators for four bus loads of travelers and one was out of order. The breakfast pancake was so hard I could not cut it with a knife. Also the airport in Rapid City is very small with seven gates and few carriers. This makes traveling difficult! In conclusion, I would recommend Tourradar, but not Trafalgar!Show more

  Thank you for sharing feedback about your time on the National Parks Wonders guided holiday, as this first-hand insight is very important to us. While we are pleased to read that you enjoyed your trip overall, we are concerned to hear that you may have found the size of your group to be too large at certain points on this trip. All of our trips and itineraries are designed to comfortably accommodate up to fifty guests at a time, and during peak seasons, we do often operate at full capacity. Nevertheless, we appreciate your concern and have shared this with our Operations Department for their consideration. On another note, we certainly can appreciate your feelings regarding the lack of name tags. However, while our guests’ satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, we also feel that being mindful of the environment we inhabit is just as important. As such, one of our many initiatives has been to drastically reduce our use of single-use plastics. With this in mind, we have decided to no longer provide name tags for each of our guests. This is a practice that we have found absolutely necessary to adopt, especially as we are a global travel company that promotes sustainability. With the above in mind, we will nonetheless be sharing your comments with our Operations Department for their attention, and to establish what improvements we might still be able to make going forward to better accommodate our guests. Furthermore, we appreciate you sharing your concerns regarding the Rushmore Hotel and can confirm that they've been shared with our Quality Control team for further evaluation. You have every right to expect the highest level of service from us, as this is something we have always been known for throughout the travel industry. While we note with reluctance that you may not be travelling with us again, we nevertheless wish you all the best for your future travels.

  -We did not have name tags so it was difficult to get to know the 52 people on our trip. - we saw many sights but never seemed to have enough time to really see them. - Deadwood and the local guide were a waste of time. Please eliminate that! - the Rushmore Hotel is less than poor!! The location was terrible. The sheets were scratchy. It has two elevators and only one worked, the decor resembled a factory and the food was terrible. We were given rubbery chicken for our last dinner and the breakfast pancakes were so hard, they could not be cut with a knife! Please do not book this hotel again! - Getting flights out of Rapid City are difficult. Please find a larger airport with more frequent flights.Show more

  The National Parks Wonders trip was our first with Trafalgar and it was MUCH better that we ever expected. Our tour guide Tyson was absolutely fantastic. He made sure everything went perfectly. He even gave my wife a card on her birthday. His extensive knowledge of places and things along the trip made it so much more interesting. And Ken our bus driver was amazing. Everyone on our trip was very friendly and fun to chat with. Trafalgar had everything organized well. We appreciated all the breakfasts and dinners.Show more

  One of the best tours I have ever been on. My husband and my parents all were on this tour. We met so many nice people from all over the world. Our driver Tim and our tour guide Korie were fantastic. So much knowledge and information. Our ride was safe and so comfortable. The places we visited were awesome. Seeing nature in its beauty was so fantastic. Amazing to see so many diffent natural and man made wonders. I suggest taking all additional tours. The stay before the tour in Las Vegas was at the Tropicana hotel and it was very nice. Highly recommend taking this tour and leave the details to Trafalgar. Relax and enjoy the journey. Show more
