I am 76 and my wife is 74. We are both physically active and outdoorsy. Can we still join this group?

You can definitely travel on this tour if you're physically active. The age limit is not strict at all. Taking part in this tour is more about about being young at heart, rather than fitting in a strict age range.

We're two adults and our 17-year-old son, and the site says "28 to 70 year olds" - just double-checking that he's too young for this tour.

Unfortunately he is. Many tour operators outline age restrictions and are usually willing to consider travellers outside these restrictions on a case by case basis if they are just one year out, but I am afraid your son is too young for this one!

The tour itself was good but don't be fooled by the deceptions that occur in the tour company industry. I paid On The Go Tours for the Captivating Croatia tour (OCT 2025) and they sent me on a tour called Croatian Rhapsody through a different tour company - whilst charging me $1000 more than the actual cost of the tour I was sent on. I know this because I had previously researched the tour I was sent on before I travelled and decided against it believing that if I paid a little extra I would receive a higher end tour. Don't book a Croatian tour through On The Go Tours, book through Katarina Line as they are a local low cost tour company who provide a good tour and don't rip off their customers.Show more

I am not one to be very negative and I wish what I am about to say was exaggerated when in fact it is not at all. Recently my friend Jocelyn and I booked a tour to Croatia with this company. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to pay $3,000 to essentially travel as if you were going alone. The moment we arrived no one at our hotel had heard of On The Go Tours and there wasn’t anyone else in our tour group. The tour company failed to do their due diligence and as a result, our trip was very disorganizing, frustrating and at times even discouraging. We paid $3,000 to never receive a late checkout or early check-in (as promised); instead, we lost days waiting at our hotels to check our luggage in when we should have been exploring in the limited time we had. We called our "contacts" at each city and never received a reply, we didn't have contact with anyone to help us arrange excursions, find places to eat, or places to see. Our drivers would not stop to let us eat or go to the bathroom when it was over an 8-hour drive. We had to pay to do excursions twice because they had not done their proper research for how long each stop should have taken. I am unbelievably disappointed. I am a student, so I don't have a lot of money and I thought this company would be a worthwhile investment in order to make sure the trip went smoothly and so we could see as much of Croatia as possible. In the end, it was a waste of money. Not only could we have done a much better job of organizing the trip ourselves, we would have saved a lot more money had we done so. Show more

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
