Lion Rock at sunrise was a wonderful experience and well worth getting up early for really was spectacular. The optional safari we took at Minneriya National park was a much better experience than the included Wilpattu park which was quite disappointing, felt rushed though on narrow roads too many jeeps squeezed together and we saw very little . It was an extra £50 but we saw many more elephants up close in a much more relaxed manner not rushed through . The layout of the park was better. Although there aren’t leopards there.Show more
