- Daniel· September 21st, 2022I had an amazing time with my guide Kapil and my porter. They were overly caring for my well-being and the experience was other worldly. However I’d definitely recommend trekkers to book with a group instead of just them and a tour guide.Show more
- Geoff· March 21st, 2022What a fantastic experience. Himalayan Glacier were outstanding. Both our guide and porter served us both well and made it possible for us to reach Everest Base Camp! Thank you so much guysShow more
- Trudi· October 1st, 2017From the moment I booked this trip I was impressed. The Himalayan Glacier Trekking company were i constant contact with me and if I send an email they responded to me almost immediately. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I was picked up and greeted by a friendly team member and personally greeted and farewelled by senior members of the company. My tour guide was amazing and even though I was the only person on my tour nothing was rushed and all my questions were answered. I would definitely use these guys again.Show more

Asked on April 3rd, 2022Is it safe now to travel to these destinations? Are these destinations open to travel? I can't find flights that goes from Vancouver to Bhutan, how should I get my international air ticket?
- Himalayan Glacier Adventure and Travel CompanyOperator•Written April 2022
Nepal's government has introduced a new and very simple travel advisory. First, you will need to submit proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative PCR report. Then, you can quickly get an on-arrival visa and don't need to stay in quarantine to start your trip! The Bhutan government has announced that from 25 April 2022 onwards, international travelers who are fully vaccinated and have a negative RT-PCR report need only quarantine for five days. However, unvaccinated people have to quarantine for ten days. Tibet has still close.

Asked on February 4th, 2022I understand Nepal is now open for tourism but not sure about Bhutan and Nepal. I am interested in this tour for October 2022, what is the current situation regarding entry requirements for tourism for theses countries? Does the tour help with visas and covid tests?
- Himalayan Glacier Adventure and Travel CompanyOperator•Written February 2022
Nepal is fully open since September 2021 for those who have fully vaccinated travelers, no quarantine no regulation just you need the Negative PCR report of 72 hours while trying to Nepal, but yet Bhutan is not open like Nepal, they do but with 14 days quarantine but this does not work to travel. We are hoping the reopening of Bhutan will be happing very soon when the Omicron variant slows down in India and from the world.
