Glasgow
After you arrive in Glasgow, you'll have time to get settled at your hotel. At 6 pm, head down to meet your Tour Director and the other travelers for a welcome dinner, so you can start getting to know everyone on the trip.

- Day 2
Glasgow
You'll take a scenic cruise on Loch Lomond from Luss early in the day, then drive to Stirling Castle to learn about its significance to Scottish history and the royal families who lived there. Later, you'll stop at a whisky distillery for a tasting before heading back to Glasgow for an orientation drive. The route passes the 12th-century cathedral, university buildings, and Georgian squares that shape the city's character.

Glasgow - Fort William - Glenfinnan - Isle of Skye - Inverness
The drive north takes you past Rannoch Moor and Glen Coe on the way to Fort William, and you'll stop at Glenfinnan to see the monument honoring fallen Jacobite clansmen. From there, you'll take a ferry to the Isle of Skye for a scenic drive across the island, then return to the mainland to photograph Eilean Donan Castle and Loch Ness before arriving in Inverness, the main city of the Highlands.

Inverness - Culloden Moor - Tomintoul - Aberdeen
Start at Culloden Moor, where you'll visit the battlefield visitor center and learn about the 1746 Hanoverian victory and Bonnie Prince Charlie's defeat. After that, you'll drive through Cairngorms National Park and stop in Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands, before continuing south to Aberdeen on the coast.

Travel down the North Sea coast toward Perth and Scone Palace, where the Earls and Countesses of Mansfield will welcome you with coffee and shortbread before a guided tour of the palace and its connection to Scottish coronations. Later, you'll head to St. Andrews and try some golf at the practice range there, then cross the Forth Road Bridge and arrive in Edinburgh by evening.

Edinburgh
Begin with a local guide exploring Edinburgh's 'New Town' and the notable scientists and writers who lived there, then move to the 'Old Town' and Edinburgh Castle to see Scotland's Crown Jewels. You'll have free time to walk around the city on your own, and later board the former Royal Yacht Britannia to explore all five decks and see how the Royal Family lived aboard. The day ends with a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
