We just came back from our riveting tour from Turkey 🇹🇷. 10 day Turkey Tour from Istanbul- with highlights from Topkapi Palace Museum, Cappadocia, Ephesus, and Pamukkale. We booked from Taketours and they booked us with their partner company- Europamundo. From the get-go, Europamundo was responsive, clear and organised 📚. The hotels 🏨 were mostly clean and presentable. The complimentary food for breakfast and sometimes dinner, was decent. They accommodated requests like chicken 🍗 only and vegetarian 🥦 selections. I liked the Radisson Istanbul Merter hotel the best, both the food and accommodation was top notch for the price we paid. 🍓 Europamundo went also the extra mile, by checking us early in the hotel on the first day, as we arrived in Istanbul at 5am 😴. Very much appreciated after a 24 hour trip from Sydney, Australia 🐨. If you would ask me if I would book this tour again, I would say a big resounding yes. For $1,800AUD we had a comfortable Mercedes Benz bus (with usb portals), our tour guide (Yalcin) was knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. Our food stops, were also delicious and affordable. We spent an average of 1,500Lira ($48AUD) for the authentic Turkish food 🥗, lunch stops for 2 people. Also, we had shopping stops (jewellery, leather jackets and high-end branded clothing, which were surprisingly enticing. Think- Loewe, Celine and Moncler). Thank you to Yalcin and Europamundo for providing such an enjoyable trip, without breaking our budget. We hope to return again, as we missed the Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon. I had so many places I wanted to visit in Turkey that I decided to join a tour this time — and it truly turned out to be one of the best travel decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I arrived at the airport to the very end of the journey, the local tour company took exceptional care of me. Everything felt safe, organized, and thoughtfully arranged. My guide, Yalcin, was outstanding. He was not only highly professional but also incredibly knowledgeable, with deep insights into history, culture, society, and everyday life in Turkey. Thanks to him, I didn’t just “see” Turkey — I truly understood it, and I genuinely fell in love with this country. I was also fortunate to travel with a wonderful Spanish group, which made the experience even more enjoyable and full of laughter. Before the trip, I was slightly worried about the long travel distances, but I ended up loving every moment on the road, watching the landscapes change from region to region. The vehicle was always clean, comfortable, and perfect for long drives, and the drivers were excellent as well. The itinerary was perfectly designed and incredibly well-timed. They thoughtfully avoided peak hours, so I could enjoy each site without overwhelming crowds. What I appreciated most was that the tour included not only famous highlights, but also authentic local places — especially after Safranbolu — allowing me to experience the real heart of Turkey. Every destination had its own unique charm, and there was never a dull moment. This journey gave me unforgettable memories, meaningful learning, and a deep emotional connection to Turkey. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
