Would it be possible to do this tour Golden Sands & Reindeer Trails 15 Days Tour but also add the Gobi desert, Tsenkher Hot Springs and Bayanzag (Flaming Cliffs) please?

Is it possible to have vegan and vegetarian food on this trip?

I was wondering if you have this tour available at beginning of next May for $2280 per person.

At the moment, we do not yet have enough confirmed participants for the departure on Sunday, 3 May 2026, which is why the tour is not fully confirmed at this stage. That said, we would be more than happy to actively assist in finding additional travelers to join the same date, should you wish to proceed. Alternatively, we can also offer some flexibility by adjusting the departure a few days before or after your preferred date, which often helps us confirm the tour more quickly.

Overall, this was an amazing tour and I’m so happy I chose it. The highlight for me was Michelle, who picked me up at the beginning of the trip. I was quite anxious because I hadn’t received detailed pickup information until the day before. As a first-time traveler to Mongolia, I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I told Michelle about my concerns, she took care of everything. She contacted the tour team, explained all the details, and made sure I understood what was happening. Her hospitality was incredible, and she made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. During the tour, I stayed with Seegii’s family, and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the ger was cozy and beautiful, and the family welcomed me with so much kindness. I came to Mongolia mainly because I wanted to enjoy horseback riding, and when I told them that, they happily let me ride freely. I really appreciated that they respected what I wanted from the trip. The nature was absolutely breathtaking. The landscapes are something you have to see with your own eyes, and staying with a nomadic family made the experience even more special. It’s a tour I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience the real Mongolia. One suggestion for improvement: I wish there had been better communication from the tour company before the trip. I didn’t receive enough information in advance, so I felt quite anxious before arriving. A little more detailed information beforehand would make the experience even better. The process until reaching the moment we arrived in Mongolia was long. It felt strange to pay it all in advance without having any assurances that this was not a scam. Also it was strange to pay it all so long in advance. It would have sufficed to ensure a deposit on a credit card and pay another 30% just before departure and the final 30% upon meeting the staff. The credit card would have guaranteed everyone a surety. This is the main reason, I will not use Tourradar again. We should have asked for a detailed programme and a detailed list of the amenities at each stay. We should have asked for approximate timings of each day. Now, all this is minor and could be resolved but we were taken aback by the lack of (bearable) WC and shower, still we saw it as an adventure. Others that would have booked this tour could have been shocked. We were pleasantly surprised by the ingenuity and plasticity of the involved people when our initial car was unusable, the swiftness they fixed a replacement and the ease they organized a new car the day after. Our tour was not at all impacted. This is a strength! The rest was impeccable. I would book the same mongolian guys again but not through tourradar. the payment issue has really put me off.Show more

  For the reindeer and horse trekking parts, walking is possible, however we must be honest that the terrain is very challenging and distances are long. For this reason, riding is strongly recommended for safety, comfort, and to fully enjoy the experience. You may, of course, walk short sections if you wish.

  Yes, but we only recommend horse because terrain is so hard with the foot only. But please don't worry our horses are mostly wild and free and they are happy horses. Alternatively, you can go on foot some distance then horse and so on...
