- Day 1
Cusco
You're arriving in Cusco today, so after meeting the group, you'll have the afternoon and evening to get a feel for the city at your own pace. The cobblestone streets are worth wandering, and there's local artisan jewellery and woodworks in the shops if you want to pick up something unique. San Pedro market is worth checking out too if you're curious about cacao buds and coca leaf tea, though that's totally optional.

- Day 2
Cusco to Sacred Valley
You're heading into the Sacred Valley by private coach from Cusco. First stop is a llama farm where you'll get up close with llamas, alpacas, and vicunas, then you'll watch local artisans showing off traditional Incan weaving. After that, a guided tour takes you through the Pisac ruins from the 1400s and Ollantaytambo ruins, with a chance to try homemade Chicha de Jora brew. The evening is open for browsing the town's artisan shops and cafes.

Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
If you're doing the Inca Trail, you'll grab a packed lunch and catch the train to KM104 for a 6-hour trek covering about 13 kilometers before arriving at Machu Picchu. You'll get to see Huayna Picchu peak and then train down to Aguas Calientes. Non-trekkers take the direct train. Either way, you'll spend the evening in this gateway town checking out the bridges and river, getting ready for tomorrow.

Aguas Calientes to Cusco via Machu Picchu
This morning brings a guided tour of Machu Picchu, the UNESCO site built around 1450 during the height of the Incan Empire. You'll see the Temple of the Three Windows and Huayna Picchu peak, then you'll have free time to wander. The train takes you back to Cusco where everyone debriefs about the experience. Later you can explore the market stalls and cobbled streets again, or try local specialities like cuy.

Cusco
After the past few days of activity, this is a recovery day. You can sleep in at the hotel, then grab fresh mountain coffee in the Plaza de Armas or just walk around town. There's time to look for alpaca sweaters or explore however you want. Optional adventure activities are available if you're not too tired from the trek.

Cusco to Jungle Lodge
You're leaving Cusco behind for Puerto Maldonado via an included flight over the Andes. After arriving, you'll tour the city to see colorful fruit stalls and open-air markets. Then it's by boat to the rainforest lodge, which you can only reach by water. You'll hike to the canopy tower before dinner, then head out on a night excursion to spot caimans. Your room has open walls so you'll fall asleep to the jungle sounds.

Wake up early for a morning canoe cruise on Sandoval Lake where you might spot prehistoric hoatzin birds and giant river otters. The jungle birds might wake you up first, but that's part of the experience. The afternoon is yours to relax or rest. You'll return to the lodge for dinner after another wildlife-filled day.

Jungle Lodge to Lima via Puerto Maldonado
You're flying from the jungle to Lima for your final night in Peru. The evening has lots of options: head to the trendy Miraflores district, hang out in Parque Kennedy, or grab fresh ceviche somewhere. Before you head to Argentina tomorrow, you'll toast your Peruvian adventure with a pisco sour.

You've got options today. Either take a day trip to Tigre to learn about the islenos inhabitants and explore the Tigre Delta by boat, or do a short bike ride around surrounding areas. Weather permitting, there's swimming and kayaking available. Everyone shares a delicious regional lunch together. If you'd rather stay in Buenos Aires, you can explore the city on your own.

Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls
An included flight takes you from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazu, then you'll cross into Brazil for the first time. You're exploring the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls, which has 275 individual waterfalls spanning both countries. You can explore Parque Nacional do Igua u at your own pace, and there are optional helicopter rides for a bird's eye view. The evening features an authentic Brazilian BBQ dinner.

On your last full day, you'll visit Christ the Redeemer, standing 30 meters high and offering views over the city below. This iconic religious monument is one of the New Wonders of the World. In the afternoon, you'll take a boat cruise with cocktails and music with the group. The day ends with an included farewell dinner celebrating your entire journey together.
