Itinerary
- Day 1
Doune Castle - Glencoe - Glenfinnan - Inverness
You'll head north into the Scottish Highlands this morning, starting at Doune Castle and driving through Trossachs National Park toward Glencoe. There's time for photos and a short walk in Glencoe, then you'll grab lunch at your own pace. After that, you're heading to Glenfinnan Monument and the Hogwarts Express railway line before passing Loch Ness on the drive to Inverness where you'll stay overnight. Fair amount of driving between each spot, so settle in for the journey.

- Day 2
Inverness - Glen Affric - Loch Ness - Inverness
Starting northeast of Inverness, you'll visit Lord Lovat's tomb in Clan Fraser territory and then head to Glen Affric to walk through the lochs, mountains, and ancient pine woods. There's a stop at the 4,000-year-old Corrimory Chambered Cairn along the way. By midday you'll reach Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness with free time for lunch and optional views of Urquhart Castle ruins nearby. The afternoon might include an optional trip to Rogie Falls suspension bridge before heading back to Inverness for the evening.

- Day 3
Culloden - Clava Cairns - Cairngorms - Aviemore - Killicrankie - Perth
Begin at Culloden Battlefield and spend time at the visitor centre learning about the Jacobite Rising, then move on to Clava Cairns, an ancient site connected to show locations. You'll drive south through Cairngorms National Park to Aviemore for free time and lunch. In the afternoon you're touring the Newtonmore Highland Folk Museum to see 18th-century crofts and how people lived back then. There's a stop at Killicrankie river gorge and its battle site before the day ends in Perth. This one covers a lot of ground with multiple stops.

- Day 4
Falkland - Culross - Linlithgow - Blackness Castle - Hopetoun House - Edinburgh
You're staying in central Scotland today, beginning in the village of Falkland with its cobbled lanes and palace. From there, head to Culross to walk through its historic palace and stone streets, then pause in Linlithgow for free time and lunch. Next comes Blackness Castle, which appears as Fort William in the show, followed by Hopetoun House and its gardens before driving back to Edinburgh by evening. Mostly driving between spots with short walks at each location.
