Itinerary
- Day 1
Santiago de Compostela
You'll arrive at your hotel on your own and have the rest of the day free. Walk around Santiago de Compostela at whatever pace feels right to you. The cathedral is worth seeing, and you'll find the cobbled streets and squares in the center pretty engaging to wander through.

- Day 2
Santiago de Compostela to Vigo
After breakfast, you'll drive through the Rías Baixas coastal region, those dramatic landscapes people call the Spanish Fjords. There are stops at La Toja Island and O Grove where you can choose to hop on a catamaran and check out oyster and mussel farms, plus taste what they're producing. Your afternoon in Vigo is yours to spend however you like, wandering around at your own pace.

Vigo to León
After breakfast, you'll head toward Castilla y León and arrive in León, a city loaded with artistic history. The Gothic Cathedral is there if you want to see it, and you can walk through the old town and explore on your own time.

León to Salamanca to Madrid
After breakfast, you're heading to Salamanca for a quick stop with free time to see the old town and check out the Plaza Mayor, which has that grand Baroque style. From there you'll continue on to Madrid.

Madrid to Córdoba to Seville
After breakfast, you'll travel through the La Mancha plains heading toward Córdoba. A guided tour shows you the Mosque-Cathedral and the Jewish Quarter with all its character and history. Then it's on to Seville for the next leg.

- Day 6
Seville
This morning includes a guided tour covering María Luisa Park, the Plaza de España, views of Seville's Cathedral and its Giralda bell tower, plus the Santa Cruz quarter. Your afternoon is free, so you can take an optional river cruise or visit the bullring if that interests you. There's also an optional flamenco show in the evening if you want to catch that.

After breakfast, you'll depart for Granada. A guided tour covers the Alhambra Palace, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Generalife Gardens. Dinner is included, and you have the option to visit the Sacromonte caves or see a traditional gypsy flamenco show.

Barcelona
This morning brings a guided tour of Montjuïc Park with its great views, the Olympic Ring, the Columbus Monument, and Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. Your afternoon is free to check out whatever interests you, and there's an optional night tour available if you want to see the wide avenues and lit-up fountains after dark.

Barcelona to Zaragoza to Pamplona
After breakfast, you'll depart for Zaragoza with a short stop to see the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar and some free time there. Then you'll continue on to Pamplona, which is known for the San Fermín festivities and has a historic old town worth seeing.

- Day 12
Pamplona to San Sebastián to Bilbao to Santander
After breakfast, you're heading to San Sebastián, one of northern Spain's more refined cities. You'll have free time to walk along La Concha Bay or through the old quarter. Later you'll stop briefly in Bilbao to see the Guggenheim Museum's striking design, then move on to Santander.

Santander to Santillana del Mar to Covadonga to Oviedo
After breakfast, you'll travel to Santillana del Mar, a place that's been declared a National Monument because of how well its medieval character has been preserved. The drive continues through beautiful countryside to Covadonga where you'll have free time to visit the Sanctuary. From there you'll arrive in Oviedo.

Oviedo to La Coruña to Santiago de Compostela
