Seoul
You'll land at Incheon International Airport and get picked up by a private driver who takes you into Seoul. The drive from the airport takes about an hour depending on traffic, so settle in and get your first look at the city as you head toward your hotel. This gives you time to shake off the flight and start getting oriented before the rest of your South Korea trip begins.

- Day 2
DMZ Tour
You'll start with a gondola ride that gives you a bird's eye view across the Korean Demilitarized Zone, which is a perspective most visitors don't get. From there, head to Odu Observatory where you can see directly into North Korea through telescopes and get a sense of what's on the other side of the border. Later you'll walk across Freedom Bridge, a historically significant crossing point. The tour wraps up at the Third Tunnel of Aggression, a tunnel that North Korea dug in the 1970s and South Korea discovered in 1978. It's accessible to walk through, and it's one of the more tangible reminders of the tension that defined this region. The whole experience gives you multiple perspectives on this divided landscape.

Seoul
This morning you'll check out Seoul's royal heritage starting at the Blue House, the official presidential residence with traditional Korean architecture. From there, head to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest royal palace and the main seat of power during the Joseon Dynasty starting from 1395. Later, walk through Bukchon Hanok Village, a nearly 600-year-old area filled with traditional Korean houses situated between two palaces, giving you a sense of how people lived centuries ago.

Seoul to Suwon to Jeonju
Travel south to Suwon to see Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO site with 200-year-old walls built using both Eastern and Western techniques. The fortress shows you the architectural innovation of its time. After exploring the fortress, head to Jeonju Hanok Village, which has over 800 traditional Korean houses. While there, try bibimbap, the mixed rice dish that originated in this region, and get a real sense of how locals live and cook.

Jeonju to Daegu to Busan

Busan to Gyeongju
Leave Busan for Gyeongju, often called the museum without walls and the ancient capital of the Silla Dynasty. Visit Bulguksa Temple, a UNESCO site known for its architecture, then walk across the iconic Woljeonggyo Bridge symbolizing the balance between nature and human craft. See the Daereungwon Tomb Complex with its royal burial mounds, including the famous Cheonmachong Tomb containing royal artifacts. Before heading back to Busan, stop at Yangdong Village, a well-preserved UNESCO site showing what Joseon-era aristocratic life looked like.

Busan to Seoul
Start your Busan exploration at Jagalchi Market, the country's largest fish market with multiple sections including the New Dong-a Market and Dried Fish Market. Next, visit Haedong Yonggungsa, a clifftop temple with a golden Buddha statue overlooking the East Sea. Stop at Gamcheon Culture Village, known for its colorful houses stacked on the hillside with great photo opportunities. Take time to walk the Songdo Beach Skywalk with views of the shoreline and pine groves. Later, board the KTX bullet train back to Seoul, with your ticket already included.

Seoul to Jeju
A private car will pick you up from your Seoul accommodation and take you to Busan airport. From there, you'll fly to Jeju. Once the plane lands, another private car transfer will take you from Jeju airport to your accommodation. Check in and rest up before exploring the island's natural features over the next couple of days.

- Day 9
Jeju
Spend the day exploring Jeju's volcanic landscapes. Start at the Mt. Halla 1100 Altitude Wetland halfway up South Korea's highest peak, where you can enjoy cool mountain breezes and see wildflowers in bloom. Move on to Jusangjeolli Lava Cliffs with their distinctive hexagonal rock columns formed by ancient lava hitting ocean water. Later, visit Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls, a seven-tiered cascade surrounded by green vegetation. End the day at Osulloc Green Tea Field where you can walk through rolling tea plants and do a tea tasting at the Osulloc Tea Museum.

Finish your day at the Jeju Haenyeo Museum learning about the unique culture and traditions of Jeju's women divers.
