Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Seoul

You'll land at Incheon International Airport and get picked up by a private driver who takes you into Seoul. The drive from the airport takes about an hour depending on traffic, so settle in and get your first look at the city as you head toward your hotel. This gives you time to shake off the flight and start getting oriented before the rest of your South Korea trip begins.

  2. Day 2

    DMZ Tour

You'll start with a gondola ride that gives you a bird's eye view across the Korean Demilitarized Zone, which is a perspective most visitors don't get. From there, head to Odu Observatory where you can see directly into North Korea through telescopes and get a sense of what's on the other side of the border. Later you'll walk across Freedom Bridge, a historically significant crossing point. The tour wraps up at the Third Tunnel of Aggression, a tunnel that North Korea dug in the 1970s and South Korea discovered in 1978. It's accessible to walk through, and it's one of the more tangible reminders of the tension that defined this region. The whole experience gives you multiple perspectives on this divided landscape.

Later, walk through Bukchon Hanok Village, a nearly 600-year-old area filled with traditional Korean houses situated between two palaces, giving you a sense of how people lived centuries ago.
