  I was the only person that didn’t speak Spanish on the tour. I had a translator, but missed out on developing relationships / friendships with anyone else, even though we spent 9 days together. It would have been nice to have been given the opportunity to shift to an English based tour. My travel mate is bilingual, but preferred English. Also, our tour was in the off season, but seems like the tour was geared for in-season, for example - several stops at city centers were after dark with no chance to visit in the morning; majority of stores closed at some of the smaller towns. We missed seeing Neuschwanstein castle because the bus was not running during off season. They did have horse carriage rides or you could walk up. The tour should had offered these options with enough time to complete. The tour guides said there was not enough time, but if it had been coordinated (prepaid horse carriage tickets and going directly there instead of wandering around at the base) we could of made it or they could have adjusted the timing just a little to make it. This was my first land tour, so not sure if this is true for all land tours or this one specifically, but it felt rushed. Most stops during meal times barely had enough time to eat a meal and walk around for a few minutes. There were 2 tour guides, one just for us who did the translation. I did really enjoy my tour guide (Mercedes). She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The bus was comfortable and included breakfasts were good. So main complaints - 1. the company should have confirmed directly with me that I was ok going on a Spanish speaking tour and 2. Schedule Adjustments were needed for off season.Show more

  I enjoyed this trip, worth all the 24 destinations included in the itinerary. An area of improvement would be the first day hotel should be in the Alexanderplatz area of the city to make it more convenient for the tour group to explore more food options in the area. Another suggestion would be an overnight stay in Cologne where we can have at least that night to enjoy to shop around, aside from just being able to visit the Cologne Cathedral. Other than that, this tour is highly recommended.Show more

  Here are some recommendations for the tour, especially during the December holiday season. The Berlin Christmas markets would have been a wonderful option to include. The tour size felt perfect until we arrived in Munich, where the group was at nearly full capacity. This made the experience less pleasant, as guests had to rush to find seats on the bus, and at one point our luggage barely fit because not everyone followed the luggage policy. I was also hoping for more time in Rothenburg, as well as guided tours at our stops—especially at Dachau. This was a missed opportunity to receive a guided experience at such a significant historical site. While we did receive information prior to arriving at destinations, it would have been more enjoyable and educational to explore the cities with guided tours. I booked this trip for my family during the holiday season with the hope of feeling immersed in German holiday traditions. Offering cultural experiences on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve would greatly enhance the tour. Our New Year’s hotel was near the airport, far from the city center, and since we were unfamiliar with Hannover, I did the best I could to create a meaningful New Year’s experience for my family. This, too, felt like a missed opportunity for cultural immersion. Once the group size became smaller again, the tour became much more enjoyable, allowing us to reconnect with the guests we originally started the journey with. Now that I understand the pace of the tour and the late-night arrival at the final destination, I know better what to expect if I choose this company again. That said, I would recommend giving tour guides the flexibility to check in with guests about arriving earlier at the final destination to allow more time to explore the city. Overall, it was valuable to experience the tour firsthand, as reading about it and living it are two very different things. Most importantly, the tour guides truly made the experience memorable, and I am grateful for their efforts and dedication.Show more

  We saw a lot and it is well organized. The hotels were really nice. Just be ready to have a crammed packed tour .

  The good thing is on this tour we covered a lot of ground a bit too much, was bit rushed sometimes, some city would of been good to be there for 2 nights like in munich. But one major criticism of this tour is that it was advertised as an English tour, when in fact it was 90 % Spanish, so it was difficult to mix with most of them although some spoke very good English too and some not at all. So I just feel we were mislead in that way. Plus there's so much time spent on the bus, though the buses are comfortable. Also the age was bit of a factor for me, I booked it knowing it was open age so that's on me, on some parts of the tour the average age was 60, I felt like their son. I was hoping for more active and lively tour with a bit of partying but that certainly not what I got hereShow more

  Great trip—exceeded my expectations. Even though we were generally the only English speakers, the tour guides were always willing to provide commentary and instructions in English as well as Spanish. The hotels were all great. The tour was fast paced and interesting. Great value for a reasonable price.Show more
