Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and get transferred to your hotel where you can settle in and get comfortable. After that, check the hotel reception boards in the afternoon to see what tour options are available for the coming days.

- Day 2
Athens
Start with a guided city tour that covers the Presidential Mansion, Panathenaic Stadium, and the National Library. You'll also walk through the city center squares and see neighborhoods that came up after the 2004 Olympics. From there, head out to the Acropolis before transferring to Plaka in the evening, where traditional Greek tavernas line the historic streets.

- Day 3
Athens - Kamena Vourla - Kalambaka
Leave early for northern Greece and stop at Kamena Vourla, a seaside town with nice coastal views. Next, you'll visit Thermopylae Mountain Pass before continuing to Kastraki village for free time and lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring the Meteora UNESCO site (monastery admission included) and have dinner in Kalambaka.

- Day 4
Kalambaka - Delphi - Athens
Travel south through Thessaly with beautiful mountain scenery around you. Once at Delphi, you'll explore the archaeological site that overlooks the Gulf of Corinth with time for lunch. After that, visit the Hosios Loukas Monastery, an 11th-century Byzantine building known for its remarkable mosaics, then head back to Athens, arriving in the evening.

- Day 5
Athens
You have the morning free to check out museums or shop in Athens if you'd like. In the afternoon, transfer to Piraeus Port to board a night ferry to Heraklion. You'll stay in a double cabin overnight with cruise-like amenities available.

- Day 6
Heraklion - Rethymno - Chania - Heraklion
The ferry arrives at 7:00 a.m. in Heraklion. From there, travel west along the coast to Rethymno, a nice Venetian city with a medieval castle. Continue on to Chania to see its fortress and stately mansions, a city shaped by Romans, Byzantines, Venetines, Genoese, Turks, Egyptians, and Greeks over the centuries. Return to Heraklion by day's end.

- Day 7
Heraklion
Visit the Palace of Knossos with admission and a guided tour included to learn about Minoan culture from four thousand years ago. Travel through the island's mountains heading south to Agia Galini on the Libyan Sea, where you'll have time for lunch and optional swimming. Return to Heraklion later (November through April, you'll visit Matala instead).

Heraklion
Head east along the coast to Kritsa and see the 13th-century Panagia Kera church with its exquisite frescoes. Continue to Agios Nikolaos for strolling around its natural port and having lunch. Later, go to Elounda before boarding a boat to Spinalonga Island to explore the old Venetian Fortress, which later served as a leper colony. Return by boat to Heraklion.

Heraklion - Santorini - Athens
Early in the morning, head to the port for a high-speed ferry to Santorini, arriving between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. Take a bus through nice landscapes to Oia, the island's most known town with white streets, cliff views, and windmills. You'll have time for lunch and exploring before heading to Fira (the capital) with an optional cable car or donkey descent to the port. Board an afternoon ferry around 3:15 p.m. to Athens, arriving around midnight (November through mid-April, a flight replaces the ferry service).
