Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangkok
You'll land in Bangkok and work through immigration and customs. Your tour rep meets you in the arrival lobby to handle luggage and get you to the hotel for check-in. At 6pm, you'll meet your trip expert and other travelers for an orientation session to kick things off.

- Day 2
Bangkok
After breakfast at the hotel, head to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew with its golden chedi and detailed architecture. From there, walk to nearby Wat Pho, Thailand's first university, where you can see mural paintings and learn about traditional Thai massage. Grab lunch at a local spot, then take an afternoon long-tail boat tour on the Chao Phraya River and through the quieter Thonburi Canals to see how people actually live in Bangkok, including a stop at Wat Arun.

Bangkok to Ayutthaya to Chiang Mai
Start with breakfast at the hotel, then drive out to Ayutthaya. Spend the morning walking through the UNESCO World Heritage Historical Park, checking out Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Mahathat to see 600-year-old ruins and Buddha statues. After lunch at a local restaurant, head to the local market to try roti saimai, a Thai-style cotton candy with sweet crepes. You'll also visit Wat Kudi Dao to hear stories from locals. Later, board an overnight sleeper train at 7:45pm heading to Chiang Mai, arriving at 7:15am the next morning.

- Day 4
Chiang Mai
You arrive at Chiang Mai Train Station and meet your guide. After a light snack, drive up to Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple in northern Thailand at 1,056 meters. Climb the Naga Serpent Staircase to reach it and take in the views of Chiang Mai city and the countryside. Have lunch at a local restaurant, then head to your hotel to check in and rest for the remainder of the day.

Chiang Mai (Trekking Day 1)
Check out and depart by truck. Stop at Mae Malai local market to grab supplies, then head to Mok Fah Waterfall for swimming and relaxation. Have lunch at Baan Pang Lun, then continue to Huay Nam Dung National Park. You'll trek about 2 hours through the jungle with your guide to reach Baan Mae Jok, a Karen hill tribe village. Spend time exploring the village and interacting with locals before settling in for dinner and an overnight stay in a basic bamboo cottage.

Chiang Mai (Trekking Day 2)
Breakfast comes at the village. You'll trek 3.5 to 4 hours through shaded forest trails to Bann Pang Khao Laam, another Karen village. Your guide prepares lunch when you arrive. Spend the afternoon walking around to see how people live and their traditions. In the evening, feed and bathe elephants in the river, then have dinner and stay overnight at the village. After eating, join your guide around the campfire for jokes, games, and stories.

Eat breakfast at the village, then take a smooth bamboo raft down the Mae Tang River for about 1.5 to 2 hours to Baan Pong Ngan, a Lahu hill tribe village. You'll briefly explore the village and meet the Lahu people. After that, continue bamboo rafting through several rapids for 2 more hours to a Shan village for lunch. In the afternoon, a truck takes you back to Chiang Mai and your hotel for check-in and free time.
