Itinerary
- Day 1
London to Exeter
Start in Wessex and head toward Winchester, where you'll spend time in the cathedral and check out the Great Hall. The drive takes you through some classic English countryside. After that, you'll stop at Stonehenge and go through the visitor center to understand what you're looking at before seeing the stones themselves. From there it's on to Devon and Exeter for the night, so you'll arrive with time to settle in.

- Day 2
Exeter and Dartmoor
This morning takes you into Dartmoor National Park where you'll walk around Widecombe-in-the-Moor and see its church. You'll also visit the ancient Clapper Bridge, which is this old stone bridge that's been there for centuries. Later you get free time in Tavistock to grab cream tea and wander the town a bit. Then it's back to Exeter by evening, so you're not rushed at the end of the day.

- Day 3
Cornish Coast: Boscastle to Falmouth
Travel through Cornwall and start in Boscastle, a fishing village right on the coast with narrow streets and a working harbor. Next you head to Tintagel Castle, where the ruins connect to King Arthur stories and the history gets pretty interesting. After that, Port Isaac comes up next, which you might recognize from the Doc Martin TV show. You'll arrive in Falmouth for a two-night stay, giving you a real base to settle into rather than moving every evening.

- Day 4
West Cornwall: Land's End and St Ives
Early on you'll visit St Michael's Mount, this tidal island with a medieval castle that you can walk to when the tide's out. Then you head to the Minack Theatre, this outdoor performance space carved into cliffs above the water and it's quite something to see. You'll reach Land's End at the southernmost tip of England, then move through areas where tin mining shaped the whole landscape. Port stop in St Ives before returning to Falmouth for the evening.

- Day 5
Bodmin Moor to Glastonbury and London
Journey across Bodmin Moor where you'll see pretty wild, open landscape. Jamaica Inn is next, which has a smuggling museum connected to the history of the area. Later you get to Glastonbury, where the Arthurian legend connections pull a lot of visitors. From there it's the drive back to London, so this is a longer travel day but wraps up the whole trip.
