Arrival in Baku
Your driver will be waiting at Baku Airport with a welcome board, then it's a straightforward transfer to your hotel for check-in. This gives you time to settle in and get your bearings before things get going.

Baku City Sightseeing
Start with the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, which has that distinctive curved architecture you've probably seen in photos. Head up to Highland Park next for views across the city, then see the Flame Towers. The Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum comes after that. By afternoon, you'll walk through Nizami Street where shops and cafes line the pedestrian area, and finish with Old City Baku's narrow streets and older buildings.

Gobustan, Atashgah & Yanardag
The drive to Gobustan takes about 45 minutes, where you'll find the Mud Volcano and check out ancient rock carvings at Gobustan Museum and Rocks. Bibi-Heybat Mosque is also in this area. From there, it's roughly 80 minutes to Atashgah Fire Temple, a historical Zoroastrian site. Later, swing by Yanardag where flames naturally burn on the mountainside year-round before heading back to Baku.

Gabala Day Trip
It's a 216km drive to Gabala with a stop at the 600-year-old Diribaba Mausoleum and Juma Mosque in Shamaxi along the way. Once there, you'll see Nohurgol Lake surrounded by thick forest and hills. In the afternoon, take the cable car up at Tufandag ski resort and do some hiking in that area (wear proper shoes for this). Then it's the drive back to Baku.
