Baku
Your driver meets you at Baku Airport and takes you to your hotel. You'll get checked in and have the rest of the day to settle in, adjust to the timezone, and maybe grab a meal if you're not too tired from travel.

Baku
Your guide walks you through Baku's mix of old and new architecture. Start at the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, then head to the Baku Conference Hall. After that, climb up to Highland Park's viewing platform for views across the city. You'll photograph the Flame Towers, check out the National Carpet Museum to see traditional carpet work, and wander through Little Venice and along Baku Boulevard. Shopping happens on Nizami Street, then finish the day walking through the old town's narrow streets and historic corners.

Gobustan - Atashgah - Yanardag - Baku
You're driven out to Gobustan where mud volcanoes bubble up from underground. The museum there has information about the area, and you'll see ancient rock paintings. Later you visit the Bibi-Heybat Mosque and the site of the world's first industrial oil well. From there, head to Atashgah Fire Temple, a Zoroastrian sacred site, then continue to Yanardag where flames burn continuously on the mountainside. You'll return to Baku by evening.

Gabala - Sheki
This is a long day heading toward Sheki with stops along the way. On the drive, you'll visit the Diribaba Mausoleum and Juma Mosque in Shamaxi. Once in Gabala, you see Nohurgol Lake and take a cable car up Tufandag ski resort for mountain views and fresh air. After that, you're transferred to Sheki, arriving in the evening.

Sheki
Spend the day in Sheki exploring its heritage. Tour the Palace of Sheki Khan, known for its intricate colored glass windows. Learn about traditional shebeke glassmaking at a master's house, then walk through the Upper and Lower Caravanserai from the old Silk Road. Sample local snacks on the Street of Sweets and Potteries while browsing handicrafts. Visit the Old Albanian church in Kish village before lunch. You'll have free time afterward to wander around on your own.

Your driver takes you back to Baku, which takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes. Once there, you can relax at your hotel or spend the afternoon looking for souvenirs and gifts around the city.
