We enjoyed our tour of Japan's Honshu but believe it should be marketed and named a partially guided tour rather than as providing a private guide and driver. Japan is a very beautiful country and we felt very safe when we were unescorted, whether we were walking or taking the subway. I think it would be helpful for UME to provide more guidance for suggested activities on the free days. As experienced travelers we used Get Your Guide and Klook to find activities and tours, but we recognized that it may have been difficult to find and navigate to these activities if we were not seasoned travelers. Overall we were able to see a lot of facinating places during our tour and felt the itinerary was good, albeit busy. I was disappointed that we did not get to visit the Kawaguchiko Terjozan Park with the observation decks and Oshino Hakkai village and spring waters (both on our itinerary) on our day in Mt Fuji. Our guides in Kanazawa and Hiroshima were excellent which enhanced our experience significantly. Overall it was a good tour that provided us with a greater understanding and appreciation of amazing Japan.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of $75 is required to confirm your booking with UME Travel Co. Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and UME Travel Co. Ltd will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
