- Day 1
Piraeus
You'll arrive in Piraeus, the main port for Athens, and have the whole day to walk around the harbor areas and waterfront before your evening boat departs. The eastern side around Zea Marina and Mikrolimano is where you'll find the best cafes and restaurants, so it's a good spot to grab lunch and get a feel for the place. You can wander along the water, check out the different marinas, and relax before heading to your ship.

Kea
Landing on Kea in the morning, you'll head to Ioulida, the main village where no cars are allowed, so you can rent a donkey if you want something different. From there, it's worth checking out the Monastery of Panagia Kastriani up on Kastri hill, a local pottery workshop where artisans still work, and the ancient ruins at Karthea. Later, take the cobblestone paths out to Poles beach, which stays pretty quiet and isolated. The whole island has this artistic, unhurried vibe that takes time to appreciate.

Syros
You'll arrive on Syros and see right away how it mixes Cycladic style with Venetian influences in its buildings and layout. Start with Ermoupoli, the capital, where colorful mansions and neoclassical architecture line the streets, then head up to Ano Syros for the medieval streets and older feel. Check out Dellagracia village, walk through the Botanical Garden, and find Saint Stefanos chapel built inside a cave. Come evening, sit at a seaside tavern and try the local cheese and grilled octopus, which are really the standout dishes here.

Delos and Mykonos
Your morning starts at Delos, the ancient sanctuary connected to Apollo and Artemis in Greek mythology and recognized by UNESCO for its cultural importance. After a few hours exploring the ruins, you'll depart mid-afternoon for Mykonos. Once there, check out the Folklore Museum, catch a film at the open-air cinema, or head to Ano Mera to see the traditional side of the island away from the main town. Dinner options range from casual taverns to upscale spots with views overlooking the sea.

- Day 5
Amorgos
Amorgos is quieter than many Cyclades islands, with steep hills and simple white architecture throughout. Start in Hora, the medieval settlement, then head to the water to swim around the Olympia shipwreck or explore underwater caves if you're up for it. The Archaeological Museum is small but worth an hour, and the clifftop Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa is dramatic and memorable. You can take a boat to nearby empty islands, eat at local taverns in Aegiali village, and enjoy the nightlife there, which is casual but lively.

Naxos
Naxos is the biggest island in the Cyclades, and there's a lot to fit in. Start with the Castle of Naxos and the ancient temples dedicated to Zeus, Dionysus, Apollo, and Demeter scattered across the island. Stop by the Archaeological Museum, then seek out local producers making cheese and olive oil to sample their work. Visit ceramic workshops to see potters at work, and if you're interested in history, head inland to see monasteries and mountain villages like Apiranthos, which has marble houses and Venetian towers. The citrus spirits are worth trying too.

Kythnos
Kythnos is known for having Greece's first thermal spa and a long history of pottery making that's still active today. You'll want to check out the Cave of Katafyki and the Monastery of Panagia Kanala, then relax at the historic thermal springs if your schedule allows. Messaria shows off traditional Cycladic architecture, and the Mesolithic site at Maroulas offers a different kind of history. The unusual Kolona beach is worth seeing, and there's a pottery workshop here that's actually won recognition from UNESCO.

Piraeus
You'll return to Piraeus in the morning as your tour ends. This busy maritime hub is where ferries, large ships, and hydrofoils all come and go, so it's always active and full of people traveling to various islands. The port itself is interesting to walk around, and if you need time before heading inland to Athens, there are cafes and shops nearby.
