Everything about our two weeks here was wonderful. We experienced a really good balance of life in the city, villages, the beaches, the tea plantations in the high country and in national parks. Amazing country!. Some of our highlights were Sigirya, tea plantations, jeep safari and the Madu river cruise. Special mention to our guide Bandara who did an excellent job and made our tour very comfortable. He was always providing advice on what we should see, where we should eat, what customs where, when the best time to see something was etc. Exotic Perla, thank you so much for provided a nice tour with a nice guide.Show more

A most memorable holiday - our tour of Central & Southern Sri Lanka gave us the opportunity to experience a myriad of such a wealth of different experiences. Blessed with beautiful and peaceful beaches, a stunning blend of history, culture and wildlife and a spectacular landscape amongst the tea plantations in the hills and lush forests Sri Lanka caters for every type of tourist. So many highlights to capture, from the hike up the rock of Sigiriya to its peak with fantastic views over the countryside and to discover the ancient kingdom that existed 1500 years ago to visiting the most beautiful cave temples in Dambulla , then the most fascinating colonial city of Kandy which attracts millions of Buddhists every year to visit the Temple of the Tooth, then the climb through the picturesque landscape of tea making country to Little England aka Nuwara Eliza , allowing us to take the most delightful train journey to Ella , not forgetting the visit to Yala national park with the most amazing range of flora and fauna and of course spotting the leopard fulfilled our every wish and Minneriya which provides home to the world’s largest known gathering of Asian . A fantastic holiday but much credit has to go to Silva , our most wonderful guide. Silva is the most attentive and caring guide - he always ensured we were happy and was mindful of everyone’s individual needs . Silva has all the qualities required of a guide, hard working, trustworthy. Silva was particularly helpful when dealing with the locals ie traders , hawkers etc ensuring we paid a fair price for any significant purchases. Finally, even under times of pressure or when resolving any problems that arose, Silva always remained cheerful and above all else very courteous. In summary, for all the reasons Sri Lanka should be on everyone’s bucket list. Go book it and be sure to use Silva as you will be guaranteed to be in safe handsShow more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 29th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 29th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Exotic Perla. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
