Itinerary
- Day 1
Reykjavik
You'll arrive in Reykjavik and head to your hotel to get settled in. The entire day is yours to explore Iceland's capital at your own pace, whether that means wandering around neighborhoods, grabbing a bite, or just resting after your flight.

Reykjavik to Westfjords
After breakfast, you'll board the Ultramarine and start sailing toward the Westfjords. From there, Zodiac boats and guided landings take you through this rugged northwestern area where you'll see dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, and beaches. You might visit small fishing villages like Vigur Island or Isafjorour depending on conditions.

At Sea
You'll spend this day at sea with time to relax onboard. There are no scheduled activities, so you can enjoy the ship's facilities, rest, or attend any optional presentations the crew offers.
- Day 4
Denmark Strait
The ship sails north across the Denmark Strait between Iceland and Greenland. During the crossing, the Expedition Team gives presentations covering Arctic history, wildlife, geology, and climate. Watch from the deck for seabirds and whales that may appear around the ship.

King Oscar Fjord and Scoresby Land
You'll enter King Oscar Fjord in Northeast Greenland National Park. When the weather cooperates, you can hike through Skipperdal Valley or visit Blomsterbugten (Flower Bay) on Ymer Island, or try the trail up to Noa Lake. That evening, eclipse experts give talks preparing you for the big event coming up.

King Oscar Fjord
This day is dedicated to getting ready for the solar eclipse tomorrow. The Expedition Team and eclipse experts do research and final preparations while you stay in King Oscar Fjord. Later in the evening, eclipse expert David Baron gives a keynote presentation to help you understand what you're about to see.

Landmarks King Oscar Fjord - Day 7
Total Solar Eclipse in King Oscar Fjord
The main event arrives: a total solar eclipse with 2 minutes and 17.2 seconds of totality, which is the longest duration possible along this eclipse path. The Ultramarine positions itself at the optimal spot, and the Expedition Team along with guest eclipse experts guide you through the experience.

Landmarks King Oscar Fjord - Day 8
Scoresby Sound
After the eclipse experience, you'll head to Scoresby Sound, a large fjord system on Greenland's eastern coast. The ship takes you to explore Bjornar (Bear Islands) and you'll travel through channels with steep cliff faces. Keep an eye out for muskoxen and visit locations like Vikingbukta and Sydkap.

At Sea
Another sea day with no scheduled activities. You'll have plenty of time to relax, catch up on sleep, or participate in any onboard programs the crew has arranged.
- Day 10
At Sea
You'll spend this day at sea heading back toward Iceland. It's a good time to unwind after the intensity of the eclipse and your Greenland exploration.
- Day 11
At Sea
One more day at sea as the ship makes its way south. You can continue enjoying the onboard amenities and reflecting on the expedition.
- Day 12
Denmark Strait
The Ultramarine sails back across the Denmark Strait, heading south toward Iceland. You can relax onboard by catching expert presentations, reviewing photos from the trip, using the spa, having drinks with fellow passengers, or spending time with the Expedition Team. Keep watching for any final wildlife sightings along the way.

Reykjavik
