He’s the best and I felt very safe and comfortable around him ! The other guides were also very good with Jaime at the Amazon Jungle tour at Tambopata Eco Lodge! Asked on November 4th, 2025For the included meals throughout the trip and the cooking experience on Day 1, will there be vegetarian options? On the last day, if I get a transportation back to San Jose, after what time should I plan my international return flight out of Costa Rica? Is there an option for a physical SIM card instead of e-sim? Will shared rooms have separate beds?
G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2025Yes there are vegetarian meal options available on this trip. You can depart Manuel Antonio at any time on the last day. If you are departing from San Jose Airport, you will need to leave enough time to get yourself to the airport - Suggest late afternoon flight. Im sorry I believe that only Esims are available from Tour Radar. Yes shared rooms will have separate beds.

Could you explain the cancellation policy for this particular tour more fully? I read the general cancellation policy but found it rather confusing.

Is there a way to see more reviews on this particular trip? I see only three reviews and it looks like they may not be for this trip specifically. And then, is it possible to get a bus from Manual Antonio to the airport at a lower cost than the private shuttle?

Solo-ish tours are specifically designed for single travelers who don't know each other (even if you are not going to be rooming together with a friend, the trips are only meant for people traveling by themselves so they can meet new people and make friends! Up to 30th day prior to departure: Your 20% non-refundable deposit is saved on your file as Lifetime Deposit towards a future tour with G Adventures. From 29th day to 3rd day prior to departure: 70% of travel fare becomes non-refundable: 50% cancellation fee + 20% Lifetime deposit. From 2nd day prior to departure up to departure day or in case of no show : 95% of travel fare becomes non-refundable: 75% cancellation fee + 20% Lifetime Deposit. For more reviews you can certainly check directly on the G Adventures website. At the end of the trip if you preferred to arrange a local bus back to San Jose you can certainly arrange this directly through the bus company (or your tour leader can assist with this in destination too!)

We believe that travelling by yourself shouldn't be more expensive. We treat single travellers the same as the rest of the group, which is why we don't charge single supplements. We'll partner you up with a same-sex roommate to ensure you pay the same as everyone else. Don't want to share a room? No problem. Sometimes it's just more convenient and comfortable to have your own room, which is why we offer single travellers a "My Own Room" option—a single room all to yourself at a great G Adventures price. The "My Own Room" option for the Solo-ish Costa Rica starts at $300 *this price may change depending on the time of year and hotel rates.
