  1. Day 1

    Lahore

    Start your first day in Lahore by heading to Shalimar Gardens, a UNESCO Heritage Site where you'll walk through terraced lawns and fountains that showcase Mughal garden design. The gardens are particularly nice in the morning when they're less crowded. Later in the afternoon, drive out to Wagah Border to see the flag lowering ceremony, which happens every evening around sunset. This high-energy border ritual between Pakistan and India involves synchronized soldiers performing dramatic kicks and gate closures that draw crowds from both sides.

    Lahore

    Today focuses on Lahore's Mughal period. Begin at Shahi Hammam, an intricate bathhouse with detailed tilework and architecture that gives you a sense of how nobles lived centuries ago. Then visit Lahore Museum to see artifacts from various historical periods, including the famous Fasting Buddha sculpture. After lunch, head to Badshahi Mosque, one of Pakistan's largest religious structures with its red sandstone facade overlooking Lahore Fort.     • For any tour departing before March 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Gypsy Traces and Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
