Itinerary
- Day 1
Islamabad to Mingora
You'll leave Islamabad in the morning and drive through scenic terrain toward Mingora in Swat Valley. Once you arrive and get settled at your hotel, head to the Swat Museum where you can see artifacts from the Gandhara Civilization. After that, check out the White Palace Swat, where the local ruler used to stay during summers. Later in the evening, dinner happens at Fizagat Park before you return to rest for the night.

Mingora to Kalam
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll start driving through the landscape toward Kalam, following the Swat River as it winds through the valley. You'll stop briefly in Bahrain and Madyan to walk around and see what's there. By evening you'll reach your hotel in Kalam, where dinner comes with a bonfire so you can relax and warm up before bed.

Mahodand Lake
This early start begins with breakfast, then you're off in a 4WD vehicle heading to Mahodand Lake in the upper Usho Valley. The drive itself is the main draw here with waterfalls and glaciers visible along the way. Once at the lake, the afternoon is yours to spend fishing, boating, or just taking in the surroundings. You'll head back to Kalam in the late afternoon, with dinner scheduled around 9 pm.

Kalam to Islamabad
