- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll land at Hanoi Airport and get transported to your hotel. After settling in, spend the afternoon walking through the French colonial neighborhoods around Hoan Kiem Lake, taking in the tree-lined streets and the water views. Then you'll join a group food tour to try street food from local vendors and get a real sense of Hanoi's eating culture.

- Day 2
Hanoi to Halong Bay
Drive north to Halong Bay, which takes about 3 hours with a break somewhere along the way. Once you arrive, spend the afternoon on a boat cruising past the limestone islands, checking out caves, going kayaking, and swimming in the water. The scenery here is really something with all those rock formations rising up from the bay.

- Day 3
Hanoi to Ninh Binh to Hue
Travel south to Ninh Binh to see the countryside with rice paddies stretching out and limestone peaks in the distance. Later on, you'll head to the train station for an overnight train to Hue. This gives you time to settle in and watch the landscape change as the sun sets.

- Day 4
Hue
After arriving at Hue station in the morning, you'll be driven to your hotel to check in. Spend the early part of the day resting or freshening up. Then in the late afternoon, take a boat trip on the Perfume River to catch the sunset over the water and get oriented to the city.

Hue City Tour
Today's a full day exploring Hue with a guide who'll take you through the royal tombs and pagodas scattered around the area. You'll also spend time on the Perfume River, walk through local markets, and cross various bridges connecting different parts of the city. Throughout the day, you'll learn about the architecture and daily routines of people living here, plus get insight into Hue's history as an ancient imperial capital.

Landmarks Perfume River - Day 6
Hue to Hoi An
Climb into a U.S. Army jeep this morning and head from Hue to Hoi An, traveling over the scenic Hai Van Pass. The jeep ride gives you a completely different feel compared to a regular car or motorbike tour, letting you really take in the coastal views and mountain landscape along the way.

Hoi An to Ba Na Hills
Head to Ba Na Hills and ride the world's longest single-line cable car system to get up the mountain. Once there, you'll see four distinct season zones as you walk around the Flower Garden and Fantasy Park, plus check out Mo Stream. The views from up top are great, and you'll return to Hoi An by evening.

Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, transfer to Danang Airport for your flight south to Ho Chi Minh City. Once you land and get to your hotel, spend the afternoon on a group tour visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels, an elaborate underground network that played a major role during the Vietnam War. It's a significant historical site that gives real context to that period.
