Edinburgh to Fort William
This morning you'll take the train from Edinburgh to Glasgow. A guided tour covers the city's industrial past and cultural spots, then you'll grab lunch before heading to Glengoyne Distillery for a whisky tasting. After that, you'll drive through the Trossachs National Park and reach your hotel on the west coast by evening.

Fort William to Isle of Skye
After breakfast, you'll board the Jacobite steam train from Fort William and travel 42 miles through lochs and mountains, crossing the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct to Mallaig. You'll have time to walk around the fishing village, then take a 30-minute ferry to the Isle of Skye. Before heading to Plockton for the night, you'll stop at Eilean Donan Castle for photos.

- Day 4
Isle of Skye to Inverness
Following breakfast, a boat tour takes you along the Isle of Skye coastline and Loch Coruisk in the Cuillin Mountains. You'll do a hike around the loch to take in the scenery, then head toward Inverness for a museum tour. The rest of your day in Inverness is free to explore at your own pace.

An insider-led tour covers the Royal Mile this morning. In the evening, you'll join the group for a farewell dinner to reflect on your rail journey through Scotland.
