For our 7-day Small Group Journey Around Iceland Tour, we have carefully selected the best available accommodation in each area, taking into account comfort, cleanliness, location, and guest feedback. Included in the tour are 6 nights at different hotels while traveling all around Iceland, with private bathroom and breakfast included.

How much driving each day?

There is between 200km and 400km of driving each day of the tour, except for day 1 and 7 these are reserved for arriving in Iceland and getting to the hotel in Reykjavík and checking out on the last day and departing from Iceland.

Would you happen to have any last minute availability for this tour in Oct 2025, from 17 Oct 2025 onwards?

We operate this tour seasonally and we will not be operating more Journey around Iceland tours for the rest of the year. We have a 3-day Northern lights hunt tour that departs on the 17th, and a 5-day version with accommodation in Reykjavík included before and after the tour.

Is the 7 day Iceland tour offered in November or December 2025?

Our Journey Around Iceland Tour is only available in the summer. During the winter we are operating our Northern Lights Hunt & Glacier Lagoon Tour.

What is the 7 day tour cost for a person traveling alone? Also, is it possible to see the NorthernLights during a late October tour?

You should see the cost for 1 person when selecting one adult and selecting the single room option in the booking process. It is possible to see the Northern Lights in October, if you are lucky you might see them on a clear night at one of the hotels in the countryside.

Is the first and last night accommodation at Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura? Can we add an extra day for us in Reykjavik at the end of the tour?

Yes, that is correct the first and last nights are booked at Reykjavík Natura Hotel. It is certainly possible to have an extra night added after booking at an extra cost.

Does this tour include the hotel on Day and the final day in Reykjavik. Si you will pick me up at the airport from flight from the US in the morning and trafer me to the hotel?

One other question on 7 day, Day is arrival day and you are paying for the hotel, Also day 7 end of trip in Reykjavik, you drop us off at the hotel and is the hotel covered that night?

Does the price include taxes and fees? If not how much are they? Can you offer transfers from the airport to hotel? Can you add extra days with transfers back from the hotel to the airport?

All fees are included in the price for the package, I'm not sure how it is listed on your end but the final price has all taxes and fees included. We do have airport transfers available at an extra cost, this will show up in the booking process and you can select the option you wish to add as you are confirming the booking. We can certainly add extra nights before and after the tour at an extra cost.

He shared great stories that included not only Icelandic folklore but also his personal family connections as we toured the different regions. Although we covered about 2000 km total, the pace was good and we never felt rushed. We did the Forest Lagoon spa on the first evening on the road, which was outstanding - make sure you allocate 2-3 hours for that. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before March 23rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 23rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Snaeland Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Snaeland Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Snaeland Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Snaeland Travel. Please familiarize yourself with the Snaeland Travel payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
