We recently took the “Oman Adventure - 8 days” trip that began in Muscat. The tour was Operated by Peregrine Treks and Expedition. The booking process was smooth and the location itself was beautiful. Unfortunately, our experience with our guide didn't meet our expectations. Although our guide had been living in Oman for over 5 years, the guide was not from Oman. While it should not matter whether a guide is a local or not, with any tour we have the expectation that the guide should have extensive knowledge on the history, culture and environment of the country. We were disappointed that this was not the case. The facts we did receive were delivered with uncertainty. We would have appreciated professionalism, better time management and organization, and structure in our days. Our daily plans were very much up in the air and we didn’t have a specific daily itinerary and we would have liked to have had more structure in our days. Our guide mentioned that he wanted us to experience Oman like a local, but at the end of our trip we felt we were left with little knowledge on the country. Although the sights, scenery and cities were beautiful, we feel that we got to experience little of the true culture of Oman. On the contrary, our driver was very professional, punctual and hospitable. He made a genuine effort to share the knowledge of his country with his limited English, which we appreciated. With better time management, organization, and research, this tour could be a fantastic experience for others. We hope this feedback helps in improving the service.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Peregrine Treks and Expedition Pvt Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Peregrine Treks and Expedition Pvt Ltd will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
