Colombo to Negombo
You'll land at Colombo airport and head to your beachfront hotel in Negombo. The day's completely open, so you can settle in at your own pace. Grab lunch whenever you're hungry, then spend the afternoon relaxing by the beach or pool. Later on, take a walk along the shore for the sunset and enjoy dinner before heading to bed for your first night.

Wilpattu National Park - Anuradhapura
This morning you're doing a lagoon safari in Negombo where you'll spot colorful birds and water creatures. After that, you'll head to Wilpattu National Park for an afternoon safari through Sri Lanka's oldest and largest national park. You might see leopards, elephants, and sloth bears if you're lucky. By evening you'll arrive in Anuradhapura for the night.

- Day 3
Anuradhapura
You'll explore ancient Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was Sri Lanka's capital for over a thousand years. See the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi fig tree, check out the Awukana Buddha carved from granite, and walk through the rock temple to find the 'Isurumuniya Lovers' carving. After exploring the ruins, you'll head to Sigiriya for the night.

Sigiriya
Start your day with a safari in Minneriya National Park where you'll see one of Asia's largest elephant gatherings. Then you'll visit Hiriwadunna Village for a catamaran ride on the lake and tour the village where locals teach you traditional cooking. The afternoon brings the climb up Sigiriya Rock Fortress with its famous frescoes and views from the top.

Begin at the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO site with ancient rock paintings and Buddha statues. Next you'll visit the Monkey Kingdom sanctuary, then head to the spiritual Matale Hindu Temple. By afternoon you'll reach Kandy and see the Temple of the Tooth. End the evening watching a traditional Sri Lankan cultural dance performance.

Peradeniya - Nuwara Eliya
Start at the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya with its 14th-century heritage and tropical plants. Climb the Ambuluwawa Tower for views across the landscape. Later you'll explore tea factories and plantations to learn how Ceylon Tea is produced. You'll arrive in Nuwara Eliya, known as 'Little England,' with colonial buildings and cool mountain air surrounded by tea estates.

Horton Plains - Haputale to Ella
You'll explore Horton Plains National Park with its mist-covered grasslands and head to World's End viewpoint for panoramic views. After that, board one of the world's most beautiful train routes from Haputale to Ella. The journey winds through tea plantations, over charming bridges, and across misty valleys while you see local village life from the window.

Udawalawe

Later you'll explore ancient rock sculptures at Buduruwagala temple and visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home to see elephants and learn about conservation work.
