It made me wonder why we were asked about this when no alternatives would be available. Ella was great as we were able to source good restaurants offering gluten free alternatives Some of the hotels were fairly remote so it was difficult to explore various places independently such as Kandy. Our guide said he would take us on a shopping trip before we left but this did not happen and there was no explanation. Given that we were a private tour it would have been nice to have had a greater input in our plans for the day especially when temple visits occurred and affected our attire for the day.Show more
