Is there a hard age limit with this tour?

While our TruTravels tours have a maximum age limit of 45, our parent company, G Adventures, offers amazing Vietnam tours with no upper age limit.

I wonder if you would take one more person on these dates as these are the only ones I can take off from work.

I have checked with our ops team but I'm afraid this departure is completely full. Are there any other departure dates you could do?

Would be with my family this time. Is there a way to avoid overnight bus?

As the trip is a set itinerary we don't have any alternative methods of transportation in place. If you wanted to arrange alternative transportation yourself and meet up with us when we arrive that would be fine.

we are two couples, somewhat older than that, but nothing in the activities sounds in any way beyond us (except that only one of us drinks!) Is that a problem?

No we welcome all ages over 18+ that's no problem at all! Won't be an issue if only 1 drinks that's a personal choice :) As you want to do Cambodia as well would you be interested in doing our multi country tour that is both Vietnam and Cambodia?

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of $280 is required to confirm your booking with TruTravels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
