While my time in Sri Lanka was short, I thoroughly enjoyed my tour. My driver was polite, always on time, and happy to adjust my tour to suit my interests. The hotels I stayed in were very good, especially considering they were rated 2 and 3 star, and they all provided excellent breakfasts with some good vairety. There were so many different and interesting sights that it was difficult to pick out the most memorable, but I particluarly loved the elephant orphanage, the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kandy, and tea planatation tour on the way to Nuwara Eliya. While my driver didn't suggest any locations for lunches and dinners, it was really easy to find local cafes and restaurants that served delicious, inexpensive food. If I returned to Sri Lanka I'd certainly stay longer!Show more

We had a wonderful 3 days in Sri Lanka. Our driver Danta (not sure if I spelled it correctly?) was fabulous. More like a guide than driver. He was professional and helpful in every way. Found us fabulous vegetarian restaurants with local food. Arranged extra excursions for us and stopped when we needed to buy water or use restrooms. He navigated us through buying tickets and finding a park guide at sigiraya (which is beyond incredible) and accompanying us on our other excursions. The tour is fast paced and covers a lot of ground quickly with long days. Danta helped arrange the days to fit our desires and we chose not to visit everything. I would highly recommend this if you have Danta as your driver. A not so helpful driver might have made it a little challenging, or if you want to visit everything on the list, it might be disappointing. You’d have to rush through it all. But with Danta, we had a very positive experience in Sri Lanka.Show more

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Holiday Lanka Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Holiday Lanka Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
