- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
You'll touch down at Noi Bai International Airport and a driver will be waiting to pick you up. From there, head straight to your hotel for check-in and settle in for your first night in Hanoi.

Hanoi City Tour
Hotel pickup happens around 7:45 AM, then you'll start exploring Hanoi's major sites. You'll see the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilt house, check out the One Pillar Pagoda, and stop by Tran Quoc Pagoda at West Lake. After that, the afternoon brings the Ethnology Museum, Temple of Literature, and time wandering the Old Quarter. The whole tour wraps up around 3:30-4:00 PM.

Hanoi to Sapa
An early start around 6:30-7:00 AM means boarding a bus heading to Sapa with comfort stops along the way. You'll arrive around 1:00 PM, grab lunch, then trek down to Cat Cat village to see how the Black H'mong people live. There's a waterfall and hydraulic power station to check out before heading back to Sapa. The evening is yours to do as you like.

Sapa Trekking
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll set out trekking through rice terraces near Muong Hoa Stream. The walk takes you through Lao Chai (Black Hmong village) and Ta Van (home of the Dzay people), covering about 9 km over roughly 3.5 hours. A bus brings you back to Sapa by around 11:30 AM, then you'll have lunch and the rest of the day to relax.

Sapa Markets and Return to Hanoi
You're heading to one of Northern Vietnam's most colorful ethnic markets. Depending on the day, that could be Bac Ha Market (Sundays from 7:30 AM), Can Cau Market (Saturdays), Coc Ly (Tuesdays), or Lung Khau Nhin (Thursdays). You'll see Flower Hmong, Black Dao, Tay, Nung, and other minority groups selling bright clothing, hand-woven items, and local goods. Lunch happens back at the hotel around noon, then a bus ride returns you to Hanoi by 9:00-9:30 PM.

Hanoi to Halong Bay Cruise
The drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay takes about 3 hours. Once there, you'll board a 4-star cruise at Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf and settle into your cabin. Lunch comes on board while cruising, then you'll swim and trek at Titop Island. Next is Pearl Farm Village for more swimming and kayaking, finishing with a cooking class and tea on the sundeck.

Halong Bay to Ninh Binh
An early tai chi session starts at 6:00 AM on the sundeck. Light breakfast follows while you cruise and take in Halong Bay's views. Around 8:30-9:30 AM, you'll explore Surprise Cave, then check out and cruise back to the wharf. After brunch and settling bills, a 4-hour drive takes you to Ninh Binh (about 300 km), arriving by 4:00 PM.

- Day 8
Hoa Lu and Tam Coc
Hotel pickup around 8:00-8:30 AM starts a 2.5-hour trip to Hoa Lu, Vietnam's historic ancient capital. You'll tour the famous temples of the Le and Dinh Dynasties, then transfer to Tam Coc for lunch around 12:30 PM. The afternoon involves a boat ride along Ngo Dong River to see karst formations and limestone caves, followed by about an hour cycling through villages and rice fields. Return to Hanoi by 6:30 PM.

Phong Nha Caves
A pickup from your Dong Hoi hotel around 7:45-8:00 AM begins an 80-minute drive to Paradise Cave (about 75 km away). You'll ride a golf cart through the jungle and climb to the cave entrance with great mountain views. Lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha village happens around 12:30 PM. Afterward, a 25-minute traditional dragonboat ride takes you to Phong Nha Cave to explore its underground river. Then transfer to Hue by late afternoon (1-1.5 hours away).

Marble Mountain comes up around noon, and you'll arrive in Hoi An by 1:30-2:00 PM.

- Day 13
Cham Island Optional Tour
Breakfast at your hotel, and then you can choose how to spend the day. If you join the Cham Island tour, pickup happens around 7:30-8:30 AM and a speedboat takes you from Cua Dai Harbour. You'll visit Lang Beach, the Marine Protected Area, Boat Shelter, Hai Tang Pagoda, and a traditional fishing village. Swimming and snorkeling start around 10:00 AM, with seafood lunch on one of the beaches around 11:30 AM. Back in Hoi An by 2:30 PM. Or stay in town and explore on your own.

- Day 15
Cu Chi Tunnels and Saigon Night Tour
Morning drive to Cu Chi (60 km from Ho Chi Minh City) takes you to its famous tunnel network stretching over 200 km. You'll watch an introductory video and spend about an hour exploring the tunnels, then try tea and cassava (wartime guerrilla food). Back in Saigon, the evening offers an optional Vespa street food tour where you'll ride vintage scooters through the city's nightlife, hit local restaurants, try traditional Vietnamese pancakes and seafood, enjoy coffee with live music, and finish at a music bar with all-you-can-eat food and drinks included.

Mekong Delta Tour
A full-day Mekong Delta trip (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) starts with Vinh Trang Pagoda in My Tho. A boat ride follows to see stilt houses, fruit plantations, and fishing villages, then on to Tortoise Islet for lunch in an orchard garden. You'll continue to An Khanh in Ben Tre for a hand-rowed sampan ride under water coconut trees along natural canals. Enjoy seasonal fruit and honey tea with local southern Vietnamese folk music, check out a family business showing rural life, and taste local coconut candy. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.
