The tour was great and very well organised. We added an extra day in the middle and had a private driver and guide for a trip to Ba Na Hills and a night in Danang. Loved the night on Halong Bay and the secret cave. Thoroughly recommend this tour by Realistic Asia.

I had to come back to India because I developed very severe lower back pain on Day 3. So I can't review the whole trip. The tour operator really helped me with hospital visits and finding me a room elsewhere at short notice for a day because on Day 3 I had to check out of the hotel I was in, and they were booked up. So, great support. But I do want to say a few things. The buses used are disability-unfriendly, with a very steep step. There ought to be a lower pull-out step that's closer to the ground. The tour guides and other tourists in the group were caring, and helped me, but for someone like me (I'm 66) who has knee and back issues, having to get on and off several times a day with such a high step to navigate definitely strained my back. It didn't help that both hotels in Hanoi had Dunlop-style mattresses, which are known to be bad for the back. I was fine when I landed in Hanoi, but the buses and thd mattresses, I think, triggered my back pain. Also, I loved Hanoi and will never forget Ninh Bin, but on Day 2 there was too much rattling off of information by the guide — a series of dates and names and trivia — while we all stood around for much, much too long, nearly 30 minutes, before we even entered the very first complex at Hoa lu. I think information provided by tour guides needs to be crisper and insightful about history and culture rather than a tedious recitation. I'm not naming the guide because he was such a nice guy. I mean this only as constructive feedback. And I definitely want to return to Vietnam. As I write these words, central Vietnam has been flooded for the third time in quick succession, and it hurts to read the reports and see the images. If tourism can help the economy and the country's people recover, count me in as someone who'll be back one day!

Vietnam completely stole my heart, and this tour was the perfect introduction to the country. I loved how the itinerary was so well balanced, one day we’d be walking through ancient temples, the next we’d be tasting street food, and another day we’d be cruising through stunning natural landscapes. Hoi An was my favorite, with its colorful lanterns, riverside cafes, and historic charm. I also appreciated the free time built into the tour, which gave me the chance to shop at local markets and enjoy quiet moments by myself.

Thang (Chris) was so supportive throughout my trip. From the very beginning he was in contact with us and quickly answered any questions we had. Once we were in country he again was very supportive and went above expectations. If I travel to the area in the future I would ask directly for Thang (Chris) to handle my trip because I can expect A+ service from him.

Excellent organisation and communication - Edna my contact was great at keeping in touch and checking everything was going smoothly and resolving any questions or issues. Part of the tour in Hanlong Bay was cancelled due to extreme weather but Edna was on the ball in making sure that everything was taken care of and that I had alternate activities. Thank you Edna! The tour gives a really nice overview of Vietnam and has an interesting range of sights and activities - I really enjoyed it. I would recommend researching the weather in the season you're travelling - some months have a lot heavier rainfall than others! The hotels offered were all clean and comfortable with friendly staff - the only issue was that the ones in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh had poor soundproofing. I really enjoyed all the included meals - no complaints.

We really enjoyed this tour. Phenominal! It's Vietnam done in a 10-day snapshot. There's quite a bit of time spent in buses, but that's necessary to get to the beautiful places. We had our 3 children with us and they didn't enjoy the Hanoi History city tour as much, but the rest was great.

Can you tell me the average number of people in a group? How much more would it be to do the tour but with private guide and driver? Can you tell me how much time we would be traveling on the bus on a daily basis? Is there a bathroom on the bus? Last, do any of the tours go to Sapa? We would like to see the famous and beautiful Rice Fields in Vietnam.

During this Vietnam Best Deal In 10 Days tour, you will join the group tours in Vietnam (group size maybe 12-14 people). The group tour is NOT that you share with the same group from the beginning till the end. Most of our tour is a partial group tour in which you will have different groups for excursion at each place, but airport pick up/drop off and accommodation are private, just join a group on days you have a tour. It depends on the attraction you visit on that day, for example in this tour Day 3 you will visit Ninh Binh, it will be about 2 hour transfer. And it's just a day trip bus, so no bathroom. If you want add Sapa, you should add at least 3 more days.

I am traveling alone. But I do not want to pay for a single room. Is it possible to share a double room with another person who is planning this trip? Can you add another applicant to this trip? I am a 54 year old male. I do not care about the race, culture, religion, or gender of my roommate. My goal for this trip is to see the natural beauty and improve my English conversation skills by practicing conversation while traveling.

My favorite time of vacation is since the second half of May until the end of summer. Also the grade of hotel is not very important for me and I am so flexible. But as I noted before I want to practice English conversation and prefer not to be alone in this journey.
