Itinerary
- Day 1
Punta Arenas
Someone picks you up at Punta Arenas Airport and takes you to your hotel. After that, the day is open so you can settle in and walk around town at your own pace, getting a feel for the area.

- Day 2
Magdalena Island Expedition
You head out early to Laredo Bay and board a speedboat for a 45-minute ride to Magdalena Island. Once there, your guide walks you around the wildlife habitat for about an hour where you might see Austral Dolphins and Toninas Overa. Marta Island stays off-limits since it has marine bird colonies, but you do get to land briefly on Magdalena Island and check out the lighthouse for views across the water before heading back to Punta Arenas.

- Day 3
Punta Arenas City Tour
After eating breakfast at your hotel, you're picked up for a guided walk through Punta Arenas' main landmarks. Your guide talks about how the city grew from its founding through the coal era and the sheep ranching boom period, and you'll see historic buildings around Plaza de Armas with its palaces. The tour finishes with a look at the city's newer areas before returning you to your hotel.

- Day 4
Cape Froward Expedition
An early start means taking a bus to Punta Carrera (60 km away) for a full-day sailing trip heading to Cape Froward, which is the southernmost point of mainland South America. You'll be on the water for roughly 10 hours going through wild, remote terrain. Along the way you might spot humpback whales, Sei whales, different dolphin species, Magellan penguins, sea lions, and various seabirds. The route passes Bulnes Fort, San Isidro Lighthouse, Froward Base Camp, and Rupert Island before returning to Punta Carrera.
