New Zealand is a beautiful country but I did not enjoy this tour, it is an expensive uncomfortable way to drive round the country with very little included in the itinerary. We spent many hours on an uncomfortable old mini bus with inadequate aircon and steamed up windows. With so little on the itinerary the guide/bus driver tried to accommodate requests for optional extras but this was often chaotic (not drivers fault) and tours were fully booked, very expensive and weather dependent. Food options were poor and accommodation varied between good dorms and terrible hostels with flooded showers, no hot water, dirty. I left the tour a week early preferring to lose money than stay on the tour. Would not recommend this tour, very expensive mistake.Show more

  Can you help me book a night prior to tour start at the same hotel where the tour starts or a place close to where it starts. Do you have a good travel insurance company that you have used before that I can get trip insurance for.
