  Looking back at the six days, the variety is what I remember most. There were cultural experiences in Kandy, beautiful mountain landscapes around Nuwara Eliya, tea plantations, waterfalls, wildlife, beaches and historic Galle. The itinerary moved naturally from one type of experience to another, so every morning felt like something new was waiting. Nuwara Eliya was especially beautiful, while the safari added the adventurous side of the holiday. Bentota gave some much-needed relaxation after the sightseeing, and Galle was a lovely final coastal stop before Colombo. The private vehicle arranged through Lanka Safe Tours made the journey comfortable, particularly on the longer drives. Hotels were pleasant and having meals included was convenient. Six days is obviously short for a country with so much to see, but this route gave a very satisfying taste of Sri Lanka.Show more

  Honestly, the six days went by much too quickly. There was something different almost every day, which kept the trip interesting from beginning to end. Kandy was a great cultural introduction, particularly the traditional dance performance and the city surroundings. Nuwara Eliya was probably my favorite section because the mountain scenery, tea plantations and cooler temperatures felt completely different from the coast. The wildlife safari brought plenty of excitement and some wonderful memories. Later, Bentota provided time to relax beside the ocean, while Galle offered an interesting look at Sri Lanka’s colonial history and architecture. The final Colombo sightseeing gave the trip a nice urban ending. Lanka Safe Tours arranged the private transportation and accommodation, so there was very little to worry about along the way. For a short Sri Lankan holiday, the itinerary offered an impressive amount of variety.Show more

  Sri Lanka was even more beautiful than expected, and this six-day itinerary gave a great mixture of experiences. The journey from Colombo to Kandy was interesting, with the Pinnawala stop and cultural activities. Guide Milan was friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful, making our sightseeing experiences more enjoyable and comfortable. Nuwara Eliya felt completely different, especially around the tea plantations and waterfalls. The safari was another highlight and added some adventure to the middle of the trip. Later, Bentota was perfect for relaxing near the coast, while Galle brought history and beautiful architecture. The driver from Lanka Safe Tours was friendly and helpful throughout the journey. Having private transportation meant there was no stress about getting between destinations. Comfortable hotels, meals and good organization made the whole experience very easy.Show more

The tea-growing region was especially impressive, with green landscapes stretching across the hills. The safari added a sense of adventure and made the itinerary even more varied. Later, Bentota was ideal for relaxing after the busier sightseeing days. Galle provided a fascinating historical experience before the final part of the journey in Colombo. The route never felt limited to just one type of attraction, which made every day different. Kandy felt rich in culture and tradition, while Nuwara Eliya seemed like another world with its misty hills, tea plantations, and cooler temperatures. The road journeys offered some beautiful views and plenty of opportunities to see the countryside. The wildlife safari added an exciting adventure to the middle of the itinerary, while the later stay around Bentota provided time to relax beside the coast. Galle was particularly interesting because of its historic character and charming surroundings. By the time the journey reached Colombo, there was a real sense of having experienced several different sides of Sri Lanka.   From mountain landscapes to tropical beaches, this tour showed us several beautiful sides of Sri Lanka. Kandy was an enjoyable cultural stop, and the traditional dance performance added something special to the evening. The journey toward Nuwara Eliya was filled with beautiful scenery, and visiting a tea plantation was one of my favorite experiences. The wildlife section brought a completely different atmosphere and plenty of excitement. We then continued toward Bentota, where relaxing beside the beach and enjoying water activities was a great way to slow down. Galle was interesting for its coastal charm and historical character, while Colombo gave us a final taste of city life.
