Itinerary
- Day 1
Kashgar
You'll arrive in Kashgar and head to your hotel to check in with your ID. If you need it, airport and railway station transfers can be arranged for you.

Kashgar to Turpan
A local guide takes you through Kashgar for the day. You'll see the Apha Hoja Tomb with its blue tiles, then walk through the old town to check out traditional houses and shops. After that, the handicraft street shows off music instruments and traditional caps. You'll also visit the Id Kah Mosque, which is the largest in Xinjiang. On Sundays, there's a chance to see the Animal Bazaar too. Come evening, you head to the airport for your 13-hour overnight train to Turpan.

Turpan
Turpan's Silk Road heritage is on the agenda today. You'll see the ancient cities of Gaochang and Jiaohe, check out the Bezklik Grottoes, and learn about the Karez Irrigation System. A local guide explains the ancient Uyghur civilization you're seeing. During the day, you'll try local Uyghur food like Nang bread, pilaf, and kebab.

Turpan to Urumqi
You've got the day to yourself in Turpan. Wander through Turpan Bazaar if you want, visit the Turpan Museum, or just relax at your hotel. Later in the day, you'll travel to Urumqi either by a 3-hour drive or taking the 1-hour bullet train. After you arrive, a transfer takes you to your hotel.

- Day 5
Urumqi
At 9:30am, a local guide meets you for your Urumqi tour. You'll spend time at the Xinjiang Museum looking at relics from the region's long Silk Road history. Then you'll see Red Hill and the Hongguangshan Big Buddha Statue. The day ends at the Erdaoqiao International Bazaar where you can browse around.

Urumqi
This is your departure day. You can leave whenever your flight is scheduled, but you need to check out of your hotel by 2pm. If you need it, an airport transfer can be set up for you.
