Siem Reap
Land at Siem Reap airport where your local guide and driver will meet you. Head to your hotel downtown, then you can either rest up or wander around the city on your own for the rest of the day.

- Day 2
Angkor Complex
After breakfast, you'll head to Angkor Thom, the ancient capital built in the 9th century. Start at Bayon Temple to see the mysterious 'Khmer Smile' carvings, then move on to the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Later, spend time at Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious site, and climb Phnom Bakheng Temple for sunset views. Wrap up the evening with an Apsara Dinner Show that's on UNESCO's List.

- Day 3
Angkor Complex
Start before dawn to catch sunrise over Angkor Wat. About an hour drive takes you to Banteay Srei Temple, called the 'Jewel of Khmer Art'. Stop at local villages to see how people live and their traditional architecture. Then visit Preah Khan Temple and Ta Prohm Temple where massive tree roots wrap around the structures. Finish at the unfinished Ta Keo Temple and head to another spot for sunset.

Siem Reap to Bangkok
After breakfast, take a boat to Tonle Sap Lake where you'll see floating communities with houseboats and wooden stilt structures that rise and fall with seasonal water levels. From there, transfer to the airport for your 1 hour 10 minute flight to Bangkok. Once you land, your Bangkok guide will meet you and take you to the hotel.

- Day 5
Bangkok
Your private guide takes you through Bangkok's major Buddhist temples. You'll see the world's largest pure gold Buddha at Wat Traimit, then head to Wat Pho for Thailand's largest reclining Buddha. Next comes the Grand Palace complex where Thai Kings lived from Rama I through Rama VIII. Wat Phra Kaew, Thailand's most famous temple, sits in the northeast corner. Later, take a boat along the Chao Phraya River to reach Wat Arun, which stands 79 meters tall and people call the 'Eiffel Tower of Thailand'.

Bangkok to Chiang Rai
Check out after breakfast with your guide and head to Ayutthaya for a morning excursion. See Wat Mahathat with one of Thailand's seven wonders, a Buddha head inside tree roots, plus Wat Yai Chaimongkhon, the oldest temple, and Wat Chaiwatthanaram built like Angkor Wat style. Then visit Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, the largest summer home of Thai Kings. Stop at Wat Niwet Thammaprawat, a Gothic-style Buddhist temple. By afternoon, transfer to the airport for your 1 hour 15 minute flight to Chiang Rai where your local guide picks you up for the hotel.

- Day 7
Golden Triangle
After breakfast, explore the Golden Triangle where the Mekong River meets Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos borders. A 30-minute long-tail boat trip along the river shows natural scenery. Then check out the Hall of Opium with exhibits on poppy growing, harvesting, processing, the Opium War, and medicinal uses. Following lunch, visit Akha and Yao Tribal Villages to see how these indigenous groups live, then return to your Chiang Rai hotel.

You'll stop at Wat Rong Khun, the White Temple, with its distinctive white architecture, then take a break at Mae Kachan Hot Spring Resort to soak in mineral water. Upon arriving in Chiang Mai, your guide shows you the main market area and visits Wat Phra Singh where you can see the Phra Buddha Sihing statue. Head to your hotel with free time to explore if you still have energy.

Continue to Wat Jed Yod, built in the 14th century, and Wat Suan Dok, which once served as the royal cemetery. End at San Kamphaeng Handicraft Village to see traditional art pieces.

Your Cambodia to Thailand tour ends today. You depart late, so use your last hours in Phuket at Patong Beach. Relax in a lounge chair, get some sun, or try water sports like surfing and water skiing. Your driver picks you up from the hotel lobby at the scheduled time and takes you to the airport.
