Itinerary
- Day 1
Naples to Massa Lubrense
You'll arrive in Naples and get driven to your hotel on the Sorrento Peninsula, which is run by a local family. After settling in and meeting the other people on the trip, you'll sit down to a traditional Italian 3-course dinner together.

Amalfi Coast - Positano - Massa Lubrense
A boat tour takes you along the Amalfi Coast with those dramatic cliff faces and views out to Li Galli island. You'll stop in Amalfi to see the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea and have an espresso while sitting in the piazza. From there, head to Positano to walk through the narrow streets and alleyways, then sail back to Massa Lubrense where you can have a limoncello to refresh yourself after being on the water.

- Day 3
Vesuvius - Pompeii - Massa Lubrense
Early start getting to Mount Vesuvius for a short walk up to a viewpoint where you can see the volcano properly. Then you'll do a 2-hour guided tour through the Pompeii ruins, with time after to explore more on your own if you want. Back in Massa Lubrense, your guide will take you through the town center before returning to the hotel for the evening.

Sorrento
A walking tour shows you around Sorrento, and you'll notice the orange, lemon, and mandarin trees throughout the town. You'll visit the Franciscan monastery courtyard, which dates back to the 8th century and has a nice park inside. Lunch happens at a typical Italian agriturismo where you can try regional dishes, and then you have time to walk around the city on your own.

Naples
Head to Naples early to check out the Metrò dell'Arte, where the metro and train stations double as galleries and exhibition spaces. Walk through the old town to see its impressive buildings, stop at the quiet Santa Chiara convent, and see the busy Nativity Lane with its traditional crafts. In the newer part of the city, you'll see Galleria Umberto I, Teatro Carlo, and Piazza Plebiscito. For lunch, try a traditional Neapolitan street food called Cuoppo, then return to the terrace at your Sant'Agata sui due Golfi hotel to enjoy the sea views.

Capri or Free Day - Sant'Agata sui due Golfi
You have the full day to yourself. Relax at the hotel or get out and explore however you want. If you're interested, there's an optional guided boat trip to Capri that you can book once you arrive. That trip includes wonderful views and a snack on the boat, plus a relaxing walk around the island before heading back to the mainland in the afternoon. Everyone gathers back at the hotel for a group dinner in the evening.

Massa Lubrense Peninsula Coastal Hike
An easy coastal hike takes you through the Massa Lubrense peninsula for about 6 kilometers over roughly 3 hours with about 150 meters of elevation gain. You'll walk through lemon and olive groves heading toward the hills, and your guide will share information about the Amalfi Coast as you go. At a scenic viewpoint, you'll have a picnic and limoncello while looking out at the sea, Sorrento, and the Faraglioni rocks in front of Capri. Back at the hotel, you can relax by the pool before the group comes together for a final dinner with a limoncello spritz toast.
