Well done. The trip crossed the Antarctic circle. We did not go as far as promised but saw many glaciers and wildlife.

Why is the end Feb $4,000 cheaper than the beginning of Feb

    Price / Availability
    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten January 2026

The pricing will be different only because of the cabins that are available. The early Feb departure has a Quad Cabin available. While the late Feb date only has a Triple Cabin. The price shows the most affordable cabin first.

The group size says it is a maximum of 200 people. Do you require 200 people to operate this departure or is it a general number for the capacity of the ship?

    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten February 2024

Single occupancy options: Cat 1 Single Interior – we only have 5 rooms left on this departure for $13,635 (sale price). We also have our Category 4a single porthole which is $17,235 (sale price) and we have 10 spots left for that one. The boat doesn't need to be full to run, it would run even with 50 people!

    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten February 2024

Cancellation by you: 95 days or more before departure we will retain your deposit; fewer than 95 days before departure the cancellation fee is 100% of monies paid. We HIGHLY recommend you take out trip cancellation insurance, along with the mandatory medical insurance.
