- Day 1
Arrival in Amman
You'll get picked up at Queen Alia International Airport and head to your hotel. After you settle in, the rest of the day is yours to do whatever feels right, whether that's taking it easy at the hotel or wandering around the neighborhood.

- Day 2
Jerash and Ajloun
Your driver picks you up after breakfast and heads out to Jerash, which is about 50km from Amman. This is where you'll find some of the best-preserved Roman ruins outside of Rome, often compared to Pompeii. From there, you'll drive to Ajloun Castle, a Crusader fortress built back in 1184 AD. The views from the top are really nice, looking out over the mountains and valleys of northern Jordan. You'll head back to Amman as the sun starts to set.

- Day 3
Madaba - Mount Nebo - Dead Sea
After breakfast, your driver comes to pick you up and you'll head to Madaba, known locally as the Mosaic City because of all the intricate mosaic work throughout the area. You'll walk through St. George's Church and check out the Madaba Archaeological Park to see the mosaics, including those at the Church of the Virgin Mary. Next, you drive to Mount Nebo, one of Jordan's important holy sites where tradition says Moses was buried. Later in the day you'll reach the Dead Sea, where you can float around and relax in the mineral-rich water before heading back as the sun sets.

- Day 4
Dana Nature Reserve - Shobak Castle - Petra
Your driver picks you up after breakfast and you head toward Dana Nature Reserve, Jordan's largest at 320 square kilometers of rough, varied terrain that spans across the Great Rift Valley. On the drive, you'll pass by Shobak Castle, an impressive Crusader fortress that dominates the landscape. Then you continue on to Petra and check into your hotel there for the night.

- Day 5
Petra and Wadi Rum
This morning you'll start exploring the ancient Nabataean city of Petra, which is known for those distinctive coral-red rock formations. You'll begin with a horse ride from the entrance into the Siq Canyon, then walk through the narrow canyon path to reach Al Khazneh, also called the Treasure. It's an impressive structure carved into the rock face, standing about 140 feet high and 90 feet wide with Greek-style details. You'll have free time to wander around and see other carved structures on your own. In the afternoon, your driver will take you about 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum, where you'll have dinner at a camp and spend the night under the stars.

Wadi Rum and Return to Amman
If the weather cooperates, you can catch sunrise over Wadi Rum. Then you'll go on a 4x4 jeep tour through the Moon Valley to see the unique landscape with its vast desert and wine-red sand. After that, you'll head back to Amman, which is about 300km along the desert road, taking roughly 4 to 5 hours. Once you arrive, you'll check into your hotel and have the rest of the day free.
