Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens to Peloponnese to Kalavrita to Nafplio
Your driver picks you up at 8:00 AM and heads toward Peloponnese along the mainland coast. You'll stop at the Canal of Corinth first, then spend time exploring Ancient Corinth with its marketplace and the Bema of Apostle Paul. Later, you board the cog railway through Vouraikos Canyon to Kalavrita for one of Greece's most spectacular train rides. The Cave of the Lakes comes next, where you'll see 13 colorful underground lakes with waterfalls and stalactite formations. After lunch in Kalavrita village, it's a drive to Nafplio for the night.

- Day 2
Nafplio to Epidaurus to Mycenae to Olympia
Following breakfast, you wander through Nafplio's narrow streets with their old mansions and then head up to Palamidi Castle for views across the area. There's an optional boat trip available to Bourtzi fortress if you're interested. From there, you continue to the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, which is famous for its acoustics. Next comes Mycenae's archaeological site where you'll see the Lion Gate, Cyclopean Walls, the Royal Palace, and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Your overnight is in Ancient Olympia.

- Day 3
Olympia to Naupactus to Delphi
After breakfast, you explore Ancient Olympia's archaeological site, the birthplace of the Olympic Games in 776 BC. You'll see the temple of Zeus, shrine of Pelops, council house, treasury houses, gymnasium, and stadium. During the afternoon, there's a local market to check out followed by olive oil and wine tasting to try Greece's famous varieties. You'll also stop at a local honey farm to learn about beekeeping and taste fresh honey. Later, you head to Naupactus to visit the Venetian Castle and port. After lunch there, it's the drive to Delphi for the night.

- Day 4
Delphi to Arachova to Kalambaka (Meteora)
Your driver takes you to Ancient Delphi after breakfast. You'll visit the stadium, ancient theatre that once held over 5,000 people, and the Museum of Delphi. Delphi was home to the famous oracle sanctuary dedicated to Apollo during classical times. There's an optional stop in Arachova, a traditional winter village, if you want coffee or lunch. Then you continue through Central Greece to Kalambaka, a small traditional town at the foot of the Meteora rock formations. You have time to enjoy the sunset around the monastery rocks before settling in for the night in Meteora.

- Day 5
Meteora to Thermopiles to Athens
This morning focuses on Meteora's unique scenery with its monasteries sitting atop huge rocks. You visit the Monastery of Varlaam, built in the 16th century on a 380-meter-high rock, then the Monastery of St. Stephan from the 15th century with its small museum of Byzantine and Christian items. After that, you head back toward Athens with a short stop at Thermopiles to see the statue of Leonidas, which marks the battle where 300 Spartans fought against a much larger Persian force. Your driver drops you at your hotel in late afternoon.
