Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Colombo to Kandy
You'll be picked up at Bandaranaike International Airport and head toward Kandy, stopping along the way at Pinnwala Elephant Orphanage where you can watch baby elephants getting fed and bathed. Once you check into your hotel, the afternoon opens up for exploring Kandy's key sites like the Sacred Tooth Relic Temple, the Gem Museum, and a local Batik Factory to see traditional textile work. By evening, you'll take in a cultural show that gives you a feel for Sri Lankan traditions and music.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, you'll head to the Royal Botanical Garden in Kandy to walk through the grounds before traveling uphill to Nuwara Eliya. On the way, you'll stop at Ramboda Waterfall and have Ceylon tea with mountain views, which is a nice break during the drive. Once you arrive in this cool hill station with its British colonial feel, the evening is yours to relax and take in the scenic mountain backdrop at your own pace.

Nuwara Eliya to Colombo to Negombo
Starting early, you'll see St Clair's and Devon Falls, then check out the filming location from 'Bridge on the River Kwai' before heading to Colombo. That evening brings a city and shopping tour covering the historic Fort and Pettah districts, Cinnamon Gardens, Galle Face Green, and Viharamahadevi Park. You'll finish the day heading to Negombo where you'll stay at a beach hotel right near the coast.

Negombo
Your last day takes place in Negombo, a fishing village just 6 km from the airport, so timing works well before your departure. You can use the time for last-minute shopping, kick back and relax, or grab fresh seafood at one of the local spots. The town's known for its fishing traditions, and you'll see local fishing boats and coastal activity if you take a walk around the area.
