We keep our group sizes small — usually around 12–18 people — which means you'll get a great mix of social vibes while still being able to really connect with your group and enjoy everything at a chilled pace.

Can I book as a single for 4 or 5 star hotel room?

I see the age group is up to 39. So, a 77 year old should look elsewhere. Any recommendations?

This is a tour where they have an age limit of 18-39----- I am 42 may I still join this tour?

We must remain faithful to our target audience and existing customer base. These customers are young students and gap year backpackers eager to join others on their first-ever solo adventure. It would be unfair for us to accept bookings from travellers outside of the 18-39 age range that we set for our groups. I would suggest looking at companies like G Adventures, One Life Adventures, or Intro Travel. I know they have a much more flexible demographic than we do, and they offer very similar group trips.

is the domestic flight included? and can you confirm the airport where I am flying to and from when arriving and leaving vietnam?

So in regards to the domestic flight in Vietnam this is included in the price, however at the moment due to reasons out of our control that flight hasn't been available so we have been getting the overnight train. This is included in the price and you will get your own bed/curtain for privacy. You will want to fly into Hanoi (HAN) for Day 1 and then book a flight from Ho Chi Minh (SGN) on Day 15.

Can you please advise if the hotels provided will have fitness facilities?

We do have a few hotels on our Vietnam North - South 15 Day trip with mini gyms available to use. These are in the following places: Hoi An, Mui Ne, Ho Chi Minh. If the customer is keen to use the gym while on the trip in other locations, there are local gyms nearby. The only two places where there won't be any local gyms available are Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay.

Would like to know if we can get a discount if we join 4 persons, departures end of November or early December 2024

We actually do twin share accommodation (2 per room) so you will have 2 rooms to share between you all. We don't actually do any discounts for multiple people booking unfortunately, and also November/December is a SUPER busy time for us with all trips going full.

When should I book my return flight?

We always suggest booking your return flight later on the final day. This will give you plenty of time to get back to the airport and enough time to say your goodbyes and leave without any stress or worries. The airport is approximately 20-45 minutes from the hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Who will I share a room with?

All solo travellers will pair up with other travellers of the same sex… girls with girls & guys with guys. If you are travelling with a friend, let us know, and we can put you together… same if you are travelling as a couple, we will arrange a double room where possible. You can upgrade during the booking form if you’d like your own room.

Do we stay in hostels or hotels?

The accommodation on our trips is something we do better than anyone else, and our tours definitely wouldn’t be the same without the awesome places we stay. We’ve handpicked these places to give you the perfect balance of comfort, security and convenience. We really do love where we stay, and so do all our happy travellers ?

Accommodation was excellent throughout the tour, and everything is organised for you. Shoutout to our group leaders Jack and Gab who were brilliant and both went out of their way to make sure everyone had the best experience. It’s maybe a bit of a cliche but it genuinely did feel like travelling with a group of friends rather than being on a tour. I’m so glad that I reached out to Feel Free who were very accommodating to fit me in a few days before the start of the tour. As a group we all felt like a family and I met some amazing people, many of us choosing to travel with each other post- trip. I decided quite last minute to do the the 15 day North to South trip to Vietnam as a solo traveller and it was the most incredible trip!! I can’t stress enough how easy and stress-free it was even though it’s quite a jam packed trip. Our leaders Jaime and Taylor went above and beyond - not only amazing guides/organisers but also so friendly and fun to be around. There was never a boring moment and you never felt lonely as the group becomes one big family by the end. Vietnam is an amazing country, full of so much history and breathtaking landscapes. The weather was quite hot, especially in the North but even though we went during the rainy season, we didn’t encounter much rain. All the accommodations were stayed at were 4*s, with aircon and very comfortable and clean. The private buses had plenty of seats and space and space to spread out, with aircon, which was great for the longer trips. Even the local overnight train/buses we got were first class tickets. So all in all it felt like a travelling trip done in luxury, which was ideal. I would 100% recommend anyone on the fence to book this trip, such a great mix of activity, culture, sightseeing, and partying!Show more

Amazing country and amazing people 🧡 I wanted to try solo traveling, but I was scared as hell. So, I decided to join Feel Free Travel’s Vietnam group. I spent 15 amazing days in Vietnam, exploring beautiful places and immersing myself in both nature and culture. The group was filled with fantastic people who made the trip unforgettable ❤️. Our group leaders, Ash and Jamie H., did an incredible job, making the trip easy and fun. Their energy and humor ensured we had a good laugh every day, even on long travel days. I enjoyed the Vietnam tour so much that around 10 days in, I booked the Thailand tour, which was set to start two weeks after the Vietnam one. The activities were great, especially the cooking class, and we had a blast during our fun night in Hoi An, dressed in our best fruit outfits! There were too many good times and laughs to count, and my only regret was that I couldn't stay longer with the group ❤️. Instead, I get to spend an additional 15 days with group leader Ash in Thailand, but that's a story for another time!   Sure I understand. Well if you are looking to book our 23rd November trip and your flight will be on at 00:15 on the 7th December then this will be absolutely fine. As we mentioned, nothing is planned on Day 15 other than saying those difficult goodbyes, but you can do this before you head off to the airport in the evening. You would just miss the last evening of dinner and drinks. You'll still have an awesome time with us throughout the trip and experience everything! Your group leader will also help you to arrange an airport transfer back to the airport.

  We actually do twin share accommodation (2 per room) so you will have 2 rooms to share between you all. We don't actually do any discounts for multiple people booking unfortunately, and also November/December is a SUPER busy time for us with all trips going full.

When should I book my return flight?

  We always suggest booking your return flight later on the final day. This will give you plenty of time to get back to the airport and enough time to say your goodbyes and leave without any stress or worries. The airport is approximately 20-45 minutes from the hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

  All solo travellers will pair up with other travellers of the same sex… girls with girls & guys with guys. If you are travelling with a friend, let us know, and we can put you together… same if you are travelling as a couple, we will arrange a double room where possible. You can upgrade during the booking form if you’d like your own room.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Feel Free Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Feel Free Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Feel Free Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
