We use modern touring coaches with large windows and plenty of space. We have a daily seat rotation so everyone can experience the views from different sides of the coach. There is typically water available on the coach for purchase for around 1 Euro.

You can stay at the Grand Hotel or any other local accommodation and then meet the group as scheduled.

What are the transfer times for the conclusion of the tour to Dublin Airport?

The group transfer to Dublin Airport will depart at approximately 9:00 am from your hotel.

We thought the first half was better than the second half. We particularly liked learning about the troubled history...
We thought the first half was better than the second half. We particularly liked learning about the troubled history in the north. The walking tour in Derry was excellent and we enjoyed learning about the "peace wall" in Belfast. Another highlight was the Celtic Steps, but this was an extra and the last night in Dublin tended to double-up on this experience (but was not as good). We also enjoyed the beautiful scenery that Ireland has to offer, especially the Cliffs of Mohir and other areas of natural beauty. The second half of the tour did not seem to have as much included; and we felt more left on our own. This was often mid-afternoon when there was not time to organize activities other than shopping which is not a great interest for us. Sometimes the commentary became repatitive, even the jokes. We were particularly disappointed in Dublin where we only did a quick drive-around and had a dinner on the last night. It would have been nice to have something organized there, perhaps a visit to the Gaol or the Guinness Distillery. We would have preferred that the last night was just spent at a dinner with our group rather than a large generic function. This way, we could have said our goodbyes properly. Even a pub visit with Irish music would have been a great alternative. Overall, it was enjoyable. We enjoyed the friendship of the group and learning more about Irish history and culture. However, the first half was definitely more enjoyable than the second half.Show more

For example on the second half of the tour there is 3 nights in Killarney which gives you time to properly see all Kerry has to offer. We had a wonderful time! Brian Simpson is an absolute delight and our driver Norman is awesome.... put those two together ( and thank you for doing so!!) and it becomes a party! I did fill out the paper review that you handed us, so I won't get into too much detail, but I very much enjoyed all the places we visited. I enjoy more of the country and historical sites; as archaeology is more my thing so, if I were to be picky I would have liked to see more of that and less of the major cities. As I said, I very much enjoyed our trip with you and would not hesitate to go on another tour. I would not hesitate to advise others to try your tours as well.
