  Really excellent tour guide. Good hotels, but some didn’t provide tea and coffee in the room. Also, would strongly recommend that the Archaeological Museum be included in the tour. Overall, an excellent experience in a comfortable bus with an outstanding guide.Show more

Seats were too small, others seats facing backwards - unacceptable Being told where you can have lunch is very restrictive, options should be provided - felt like we had to do as we were told, as if we were 3 year olds ???? Dumping travelers in dull/boring parts of town for the lunch break is completely unacceptable especially on a short trip eg Patras. You need to find a better location for this stop. Tour guide needs to provide information on the town you are staying at prior to arriving and ensure everyone knows. Tour guide needs to speak more clearly and perhaps slower as often found it difficult to understand her. SOPHIAShow more

  What a fantastic trip! We got to see all the important and impressive sights of Greece in a short amount of time. Our guide, Katherina, was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her country. She shared lots of stories with us that made the history of Greece come alive. Most of our hotels were better than expected, except for a few in the mainland. However, the service we received everywhere was top-notch. Overall, the airport transfers, meals, optional activities, accommodations, guide service, and sightseeing were well-planned. We're definitely excited to join another Ciconia tour in the near future.Show more

  Greece is an amazing country with a rich history, culture, breathtaking nature, and delicious cuisine. I would like to express my gratitude to Ciconia for providing us with a fantastic experience during our Classic Greece tour. Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and friendly, and shared numerous captivating stories about Greece, greatly enhancing our understanding of the culture. We were accommodated in comfortable hotels, a combination of 5 and 4-star establishments, offering friendly service and excellent amenities. One of the highlights of the trip was the opportunity to make new friends. We are definitely looking forward to joining another Ciconia tour in the near future.Show more

  This trip was definitely not as advertised. From the beginning the communication was extremely poor. We hotel had a last minute change and the new hotel didn’t have any record of our reservation. This happened to the other people on our tour also. In fact until the tour director arrived we were starting to doubt there was even going to be a tour. The brochure likes to mention luxury a lot but this tour is not luxury, not the hotels, not the bus, certainly not any of the meals. The hotels were downgraded from the advertised hotel, for example the start & finish hotel was advertised as the Grand Hyatt but an email just before the trip commenced advised the hotel had changed to the Wyndham Grand, there is. Big difference between these hotels. This was a similar story at each destination with some of the substituted hotels being ok while others were just not good enough. The bus was not luxury with small seats and not much space between rows to allow for reclining. This was especially disappointing as each day we travelled for approx 4 hours with just the required stop after 2 hours at a roadside stop. Overall for what this tour cost and the lack of delivering what was advertised I would not recommend this trip,you should choose to travel with a different company. The standard that was delivered on this trip was available for half the cost with many other companies. Be careful.Show more
