  Excellent communication by the JTR Holidays staff via WhatsApp. They always provided ample advance notice of shuttle pickups, and contact information to permit the guide or driver to be reached directly. The tours were very good overall with the following exceptions: 1) the line ups at the Burj Khalifa were very long, which resulted in this portion of the tour going over it's alloted time interval, in spite of only spending 15 minutes on the Floor 124 observation deck. This might be a function of the time of year (November), when tourist activity is higher. It would have been nice to spend more time on this portion of the tour to get the complimentary cafe beverage at the top, peruse the gift shop, and examine the various exhibits relating to the design and construction of the building. Also, specific walking directions from the shuttle drop off location at the Dubai Mall cinema parking area, to the Burj Khalifa, would have been helpful, since the mall is very large with multiple levels and wings. 2) on the City Tour, it would have been nice to have spent more time in the Souk. We were there for a little over 30 minutes, which didn't do justice to this interesting place. The hotel accommodation (Concord Palace Hotel Dubai) was acceptable, but if given the choice in future I would not stay there again. Pluses: 1) Excellent buffet breakfast with a good cross section of East Indian food selections, plus fresh fruit. 2) Walking distance to numerous cafes, restaurants, ATMs, and some shopping. Negatives: 1) Very noisy hotel. There is a night club on the 7th floor, so loud pounding music reverberates through the building until at least 3:00 AM daily. 2) Busy vehicle traffic area. This means experiencing traffic noise at most times. As well, for shuttle pick ups and drop offs, it means that it is hard for shuttle drivers to meet their assigned schedules due to excessive vehicle traffic. 3) Some problems with insects inside the hotel room.Show more

Additionally, we appreciate your suggestion for providing specific walking directions from the shuttle drop-off point to the Burj Khalifa. Regarding the City Tour, we understand your desire for more time at the Souk, and we will review the itinerary to ensure a more enriching experience in the future. However if we do so then guest don't come out on time and some guest don't want to stay or wait for long due to which we keep it short and we recommend to visit such places at leisure time because it will allow guest to explore and do some shopping as well. We apologize for any inconvenience regarding your stay at the Concord Palace Hotel Dubai. While we provided you with a selection of five hotel options, we understand that the one you selected did not meet your expectations, which was unfortunate. Your feedback regarding the noise level, traffic, and insect issues will be promptly addressed with the hotel management to ensure necessary improvements are implemented. Furthermore, we have decided to permanently remove this hotel from our list of accommodations and replace it with other available options for future bookings.   We arrive to 35 degree weather and at the end of a 6 week tour. Glad we chose this as we did not have to change...
  We arrive to 35 degree weather and at the end of a 6 week tour. Glad we chose this as we did not have to change hotels everyday as Dubai was our main attraction. Also glad that we were driven everywhere to the places in the itinerary, communication was open and fast. We arrived early and was able to be picked up earlier too. We left in the late evening and they accommodated our drop off as well. The tours are individual and separate from each other and the main task of this tour is to organize the activities and ensure you are driven to and from these activities. I didn't mind that as we were happy to be "on our own" after being in a cruise and then a tour group 5 weeks prior.Show more
