Itinerary
- Day 1
Pinnewala - Dambulla - Sigiriya
Your chauffeur guide meets you at the airport and takes you into the central highlands. First stop is Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage where you'll watch the baby elephants during their bath time and bottle feeding, which is something special to see. After that, you head to Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, which has five caves filled with 157 Buddha statues and old paintings carved into the rock.

- Day 2
Anuradhapura - Kandy
Following breakfast, you climb up Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most recognizable historical spots that King Kasyapa built way back when. Then it's about an hour and a half drive to Anuradhapura where you'll walk through the ancient royal city and see sites like Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruvanvelisaya Dagoba, and the Archaeological Museum. You finish with a city tour before heading on to Kandy.

- Day 3
Nuwara Eliya (Train Journey)
After eating breakfast, you make your way to Peradeniya station for a scenic train ride through the tea plantations, heading to Nanu Oya station where your chauffeur picks you up. From there you explore Nuwara Eliya in the hill country with its nice landscapes, waterfalls, and the Royal Botanical Gardens to walk around. By evening you stop at Gregory Lake Park to take in the cool mountain air.

Negombo - Departure
You have breakfast and then drive back to the west coast and Negombo, which takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes. This fishing town sits just 10km from the airport, so you'll spend time at the beach and do some shopping before heading to catch your flight.
