We only had a few days in Laos, and this Vientiane & Nam Ngum Lake tour was the perfect choice! Vientiane’s temples, the lively night market, and the riverside views made for a great introduction to Laos. We especially enjoyed visiting That Luang Stupa, the country’s most sacred site. The real highlight was Nam Ngum Lake—a beautiful and underrated destination. The boat trip was peaceful, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect way to unwind before heading to our next destination. Great itinerary, friendly guide, and a well-organized experience. Highly recommend!Show more

The best way to discover Laos (again and again) After four years, we returned to Laos to see this beautiful country again, but especially to experience it again with our great guide and friend Serd. As on our first visit, he gave us the opportunity to get an insight into the life of the local people and to get in touch with them. Apart from the fact that Serd is the best travel companion you could wish for, our entire trip was perfectly planned and excursions and hotels were superbly chosen. The mixture of culture, nature and sporting activity was exactly tailored to our wishes and we enjoyed every minute. Serd also knows where to get a good cup of coffee and recommends very good restaurants. This time we were in Vientiane for 3 days while four years ago we were also in the south and northeast. We look forward to the next time and can only recommend to travel to Laos with Vietlong Travel!Show more
